Գրող Արշակ Քոչինյանն ասում է՝ այսօր մեր գրականությունն անդրադառնում է արդիական խնդիրներին, պարզապես այն խնդիրները, որոնք արծարծում են գրողները, շատ դեպքերում հանրամատչելի չեն դառնում ընթերցողների համար: «Չի իրականացվում մեծ ծավալի հրատարակչական գործունեություն, նաև չեն քարոզվում գրողների ստեղծագործությունները: Մի կողմից հեղինակները բավարար ֆինանսական միջոցներ չունեն իրենց ստեղծագործությունները հրատարակելու համար, մյուսների դեպքում էլ նրանց ստեղծագործությունները չեն գովազդվում: Գրողը, ստեղծագործողը որպես առանձին անհատ իր գործն անում է: Մնացած գործունեությունը կախված է հրատարակչությունից, երբեմն գրքի տպագրությունը լինում է այնքան փոքրածավալ, որ չի ընդգրկում ամբողջ հանրությանը: Կա նաև բնակչության սոցիալական խնդիրը: Ակնկալել, որ մեր հայ գրականությունը մոտակա շրջանում ծաղկում կունենա, չեմ սպասում: Կլինեն լավ ստեղծագործություններ, տաղանդավոր ստեղծագործողներ, բայց դրանք չեն կարող դառնալ հանրամատչելի»,-«Փաստի» հետ զրույցում ասում է գրողը:

Նա նշում է՝ այսօր շատ է խոսվում այն մասին, որ գիրք գնելու ավանդույթը, կարծես թե, վերադարձել է մեր իրականություն: «Բայց խնդիրը գիրք գնելըչէ, այլ գրականությունը մատուցելը: Էական չէ՝ գիրք գնվում է, թե ոչ, գրականությունը պետք է մատուցվի: Մեր դպրոցներին որքանո՞վ է արդիական գրականությունը մատուցվում, կարծում եմ՝ շատ չնչին մակարդակով: Եթե խորհրդային ժամանակները վերհիշենք, ապա այն ժամանակ մեր տաղանդավոր գրողներն այցելում էին մայրաքաղաքի տարբեր շրջաններ, մարզեր, հանդիպում իրենց արվեստը գնահատողների հետ: Հանդիպումների ժամանակ նաև ժողովրդի խնդիրներն էին առաջ գալիս, իսկ հետո իրենք այդ խնդիրները բարձրաձայնում էին իշխանությունների առաջ: Դա մի մեխանիզմ էր, որն աշխատում էր, այսօր այդ մեխանիզմը չկա: Հանդիպումներ էին կազմակերպվում նաև այլ երկրների գրողների հետ: Այժմ, եթե նման հանդիպումներ էլ լինում են, ապա շատ քիչ»,-նշում է մեր զրուցակիցը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ դպրոցական ծրագրերում ևս պետք է փոփոխություններ կատարվեն: «Խորհրդային տարիներին բոլոր դպրոցների գրադարանները ստանում էին գրական ամսագրեր ու թերթեր, և ուսուցիչները ծանոթանում էին արդի գրականությանը և այն ստեղծագործություններին, որոնք արժեք էին ներկայացնում, ապալրացուցիչ ծանոթացնում էին աշակերտներին, քարոզում էին այդ գրողներին: Այսօր նման բան չի արվում: Երևի թե համապատասխան գերատեսչությունը պետք է հավելյալ ֆինանսական միջոցներ հատկացնի դպրոցներին, որպեսզի նրանք ձեռք բերեն գրական ամսագրերը: Պետությունը պետք է համապատասխան դաշտ ստեղծի դրա համար: Օրինակ՝ պետբյուջե վճարվող հարկերից որոշակի տոկոս կարող է ուղղվի ԿԳՄՍ նախարարությանը, որպեսզի նա դա հատկացնի և՛ նկարիչներին, և՛ գրողներին, և՛ դերասաններին և այլոց, բայց ոչ թե թոշակի, այլ կոնկրետ աշխատանք կատարելու համար: Եթե ցանկություն և նպատակ կա, կարելի է ուղիներ գտնել: Ամեն ինչ բարձիթողի չի կարող մնալ, որոշակի ֆինանսական միջոցներ պետք է հատկացվեն ստեղծագործական միություններին»,-եզրափակում է Արշակ Քոչինյանը:
