«Մեկ Հայաստան» կուսակցության հիմնադիր նախագահ Արթուր Ղազինյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է՝

Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանի որոշումը մերժել Հրայր Թովմասյանի և ՍԴ երեք դատավորների կողմից ներկայացված հայցի ապահովման միջանկյալ միջոց կիրառելու մասին միջնորդությունը, ամբողջացրեց Հայաստանում վերջին երկու տարիներին տեղի ունեցող տարօրինակ և անհասկանալի իրադարձությունների համայնապատկերը։

ՀՀ իշխանությունների բացահայտ քամահրական և արհամարհական վերաբերմունքը ժողովրդավարության, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության ու իրավունքի գերակայության նկատմամբ պետք է որ արժանային արևմտյան ժողովրդավարությունների, միջազգային իրավապաշտպան կառույցների, միջկառավարական և վերպետական միջազգային կազմակերպությունների արդարացի կոշտ գնահատականին և համարժեք քննադատությանը:

Հատկապես, որ այդ կառույցները ավանդաբար ընկալվել էին որպես ժողովրդավարական արժեքների պաշտպանության առաջամարտիկներ և տասնամյակներ շարունակ խիստ հետևողականորեն քննադատել էին Հայաստանում ու աշխարհի այլ պետություններում մարդու իրավունքների և իրավունքի գերակայության դեմ գրեթե բոլոր ոտնձգություններին։

Երկար տարիներ ղեկավարելով ԵՊՀ Եվրոպական ուսումնասիրությունների կենտրոնը, կրելով այդ արժեքային համակարգը և մասնակից լինելով Հայաստանում այդ արժեքների պաշտպանությանն ու ամրապնդմանը, ինձ մոտ առնվազն տարակուսանք է առաջացնում Եվրոպական միության, Եվրոպայի խորհրդի և այլ հեղինակավոր կառույցների այն բացահայտ և անթաքույց աջակցությունը, որ ցուցաբերվում է Հայաստանի իշխանությունների ապօրինի և հանցավոր գործողությունների նկատմամբ։

Իսկ ի՞նչ է փոխվել, ինչու՞ են լուռ այդ կառույցները Հայաստանում ժողովրդավարության և իրավունքի գերակայության դեմ աղաղակող և բացահայտ խախտումների մասին։ Մի՞թե աշխարհաքաղաքական շահն առավել բարձր է դասվում հռչակված արժեքներից և իդեալներից, մի՞թե ես և իմ պես հարյուրավոր նվիրյալներ սխալվել ենք հավատալով և նվիրվելով եվրոպական արժեքներին՝ ժողովրդավարությանը, իրավունքի գերակայությանն ու մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը։

Չեմ կարող հավատալ, որ տանսամյակներ շարունակ համամարդկային արժեքներ քարոզող, այդ արժեքների համար պայքարող իմ Եվրոպան այսօր վերածվել է «он сукин сын, но наш сукин сын» ավանդական երկակի ստանդարտների առաջամարտիկի։

Ցանկանում եմ փաստել, որ ես չե՛մ սխալվել, չէ՛ի կարող սխալվել, քանի որ մինչ այսօր հավատարիմ եմ մնացել իմ արժեքներին, սկզբունքներին և իդեալներին, և հետագայում ևս չեմ պատրաստվում մեկ քայլ անգամ նահանջել այդ հստակ գաղափարական դիրքից։

Ժողովրդավարությունը Հայաստանում այլընտրանք չունի, իսկ իրավունքը պե՛տք է գերակայի հասարակական հարաբերությունների բոլոր ոլորտներում։
