Այս մասին գրում է «Նեզավիսիմայա գազետա»-ն՝ նկատելով, որ ԱՄՆ-Չինաստան դիմակայության նոր շրջանում թվային արժույթի առկայությունը որոշ երկրներին հնարավորություն կտա փոխադարձ հաշվարկներն իրականցնել առանց ամերիկյան պատժամիջոցների մասին անհանգստության: Խոսքը, օրինակ, Իրանի մասին է, որը կկարողանա դոլարային միջազգային վճարային համակարգերից խուսափելով վճարումներ անել:

Ավելի վաղ Deutsche Bank-ի փորձագետները կանխատել էին, որ համավարակը կարագացնի երկների՝ թվային արժույթին անցման գործընթացը: Մինչդեռ Չինաստանի համար դա առավել արդիական է՝ հաշվի առնելով Պեկին-Վաշինգտոն առևտրային և տեխնոլոգիական դիմակայության նոր փուլը:
