Ուրբաթ՝ հունիսի 5-ին, Գերմանիայի դաշնային հողերի ներկայացուցչությունը՝ բունդեսթագը, հաստատել է օրենք, որով անգելվում է այսպես կոչված ռեպարատիվ թերապիան, որի նպատակն էր մարդու սեռական նախասիրությունների փոփոխությունը միասեռականության ուղղությամբ, հաղորդում է DW-ը:

Այդպիսի միջամտությունների անցկացումը կարող է պատժվել մինչեւ մեկ տարի ժամկետով կալանավորմամբ, իսկ գովազդն ու միջնորդությունը՝ մինչեւ 30 000 եվրոյի չափով տուգանքով:

Գերմանիայի առողջապահության նախարար Յենս Շպանը, որը ներկայացրել է բունդեսթագին նախագիծը, անվանել է փաստաթուղթը կարեւոր ազդանշան գերմանացիների համար եւ տարբեր սեռական ինքնանույնականացմամբ մարդկանց ընդունելու համար: Նրա խոսքով՝ ռեպարատիվ թերապիան շատ տառապանքների է հանգեցրել. «Այնտեղ, որպեղ չկա հիվանդություն, չկա նաեւ թերապիայի անհրաժեշտություն»: Բժշկական ասոցիացիաները քննադատում են այդ մեթոդները՝ որպես մարդու իրավունքների եւ բժշկական էթիկայի խախտում, ինչպես նաեւ մատնանշում, որ դրանք հանգեցնում են դեպրեսիայի, տագնապային խանգարումների կամ ինքնասպանությունների բարձր ռիսկի:

Հրապարակումից հետո այդ օրենքն ուժի մեջ կմտնի, այնուհետեւ կպատժվեն բժշկական եւ այլ միջոցները, որոնք ուղղված են միտումնավոր կերպով սեռական կողմնորոշումը փոխելուն կամ ճնշելուն, նախ, անչափահասների շրջանում, ինչպես նաեւ մեծահասակների նկատմամբ, եթե դա հիմնված է խաբեության, ռիսկերի մասին տեղեկատվությունը թաքցնելու կամ ստիպելու վրա: Ընդ որում՝ պատժի ենթակա են նաեւ նրանք, ովքեր առաջարկում են այդօրինակ ծառայություններ, ինչպես նաեւ ծնողները եւ խնամակալները, որոնք ուղարկում են երեխաներին այդ մարդկանց մոտ:

Միասեռականների նկատմամբ խտրականության դեմ պայքարող Մագնուս Հիրշֆելդի անվան գերմանական հիմնադրամի գնահատմամբ՝ Գերմանիայում ամեն տարի ձեռնարկվում է ավելի քան 1000 փորձ մարդու ինքնանույնականացմանն ազդելու ուղղությամբ: Հիմնադրամի տվյալներով՝ այդ փորձերն իրականացվում են ոչ միայն բժիշկների, հոգեբանների եւ հոգեթերապեւտների, այլ նաեւ եկեղեցիների եւ կրոնական հանրույթների ներկայացուցիչների կողմից:
