Կառավարության մոտեցումը համաճարակին մնում է նույնը՝ քաղաքացիներն են մեղավոր։ Անկախ նրանից, թե ինչպիսի փաթեթավորմամբ է այն մատուցվում՝ ջղային լայվով, թե ժպիտով, միեւնույնն է, մեղավորը քաղաքացիներն են։

Դա է վկայում նաեւ նոր, իբր ավելի նպատակաուղղված պայքարի փուլը, որը կրկին արտահայտվեց դիմակների ավելի լայն պարտադրմամբ ու այդ ամենի նկատմամբ ավելի խիստ հսկողությամբ։ Դիմակների օգտակարությունն անկասկած է, դրանք կրելու նոր պայմանները հիմա չքննենք, բայց այդ ընթացքում կառավարությունն ի՞նչ է անում։

Չենք լսում նոր շնչառական սարքերի ձեռք բերման մասին, չենք լսում այլ երկրներին օգնության համար դիմելու մասին՝ այն դեպքում, երբ վերակենդանացման սենյակները գերբեռնված են։ Չենք լսում նոր թեստեր ձեռք բերելու մասին, ուղղակի ասում են, որ եղածները պետք է ավելի խնայողաբար օգտագործենք՝ այն դեպքում, երբ պետք էր անցնել համատարած թեստավորման։ Չենք լսում անգամ թոշակի վճարման, կամ վարկերի գանձման այնպիսի մեխանիզմների մասին, որը կնվազեցներ բանկերի մոտ հերթերը։ Չենք լսում սոցիալական օգնության նոր ծրագրերի մասին, իսկ հներից մնացել են ինչ-որ փշրանքներ։ Անգամ այդքան քննարկված զանգվածային ախտահանումները չեն արվում։

Այսինքն, նոր փուլի իմաստը ու այս աղետից դուրս գալու միակ ճանապարհը մնում է համատարած դիմակավորումը։ Սա ուղղակի ծիծաղելի է։
