Մարդու իրավունքների ՄԱԿ գերագույն հանձնակատարը դատապարտել է «կառուցողական ռասիզմը» ԱՄՆ-ում
INTERNATIONAL NEWSՄարդու իրավունքների ՄԱԿ գերագույն հանձնակատար Միշել Բաչելետը դատապարտել է «կառուցողական ռասիզմը» ԱՄՆ-ում եւ մտահոգություն է հայտնել աֆրոամերիկացի լրագրող Ջորջ Ֆլոյդի սպանության հետ կապված բողոքի ցույցերը լուսաբանող լրագրողների վրա «աննախադեպ հարձակումների» կապակցությամբ։
Բաչելետն ընդգծել է հստակ եւ կառուցողական ղեկավարման անհրաժեշտությունը, որպեսզի երկիրը ճգնաժամից դուրս գա։
«Ճգնաժամի ժամանակ երկրին հատկապես անհրաժեշտ է, որ իր ղեկավարները միանշանակ դատապարտեն ռասիզմը, որպեսզի նրանք կարողանան մտածել այն մասին, թե ինչն է մարդկանց բերում եռման աստիճանի, լսել եւ սովորել, եւ միջոցներ ձեռնարկել, որոնք իսկապես լուծում են անհավասարության խնդիրը»,- ասել է նա:
ՄԱԿ մարդու իրավունքների գրասենյակի հայտարարության մեջ մատնանշվում են «բողոքի ցույցերի ընթացքում« իրավապահ մարմինների կողմից ուժի անհարկի եւ անհամաչափ կիրառման հավաստի զեկույցները»: Արցունքաբեր գազ եւ ռետինե փամփուշտներ են կիրառվել ցուցարարների եւ լրագրողների հանդեպ, «որոնք անմիջական սպառնալիք չէին ներկայացնում»:
Բաչելետը նաեւ կոչ է արել ցուցարարներին ձեռնպահ մնալ բռնությունից: «Բռնությունը, թալանը եւ գույքի ու շրջակա տարածքի ավերումը չեն լուծի ոստիկանության դաժանության եւ արմատացած խտրականության խնդիրը»,- ասել է նա:
Նա խոստովանել է, որ «կառուցողական ռասիզմը եւ ոստիկանության կողմից բռնությունը» հանդիպում են ամբողջ աշխարհում: Սակայն նախազգուշացրել է, թե «զայրույթը, որը մենք տեսնում ենք ԱՄՆ-ում, որը բռնկվեց, երբ COVID-19-ը բացահայտում է հասարակության մեջ աղաղակող անհավասարությունը, ցույց է տալիս, թե ինչու են անհրաժեշտ խորքային բարեփոխումներ եւ ներառական երկխոսություն՝ ոստիկանության կողմից անօրինական սպանությունների եւ ռասայական խտրականությունների համար անպատժելիության շրջապտույտը դադարեցնելու համար»:
