Քաղաքագետ Անդրանիկ Թեւանյանը իր ֆեյբուքյան «Ոտքերով կամ ձեռքերով առաջ․ ինչպե՞ս կավարտվի Փաշինյանի իշխանությունը» վերտառությամբ գրառում է կատարել:

«Ոչ ժողովրդավարական ռեժիմները ձգտում են վերարտադրության։ Իշխանությունը դառնում է ինքնանպատակ։

Ավտորիտար կամ տոտալիտար իշխանավորները, որպես կանոն, լինում են «ժողովրդի ծոցից ելած», հանդես են գալիս ժողովրդի անունից ու շան օրի են գցում նույն այդ ժողովրդին։ Մեզ մոտ բացառություն չէ։

Ավտորիտար կամ տոտալիտար ռեժիմների ղեկավարները սեփական կամքով չեն հեռանում իշխանությունից։ Նրանց իշխանությունից հեռացնում է բնական կամ կողմնակի միջամտությամբ մահը, կամ էլ՝ հեղափոխությունը/հեղաշրջումը։ Այլ կերպ ասած՝ «Ժողովրդի» իշխանավորներին պետական կաբինետից հանում են կա՛մ ոտքերով առաջ (դագաղի մեջ․ սա այն դեպքում, երբ հաջողվում է իշխել ցմահ), կա՛մ ձեռքերով առաջ (ձեռնաշղթաներով․ սա այն դեպքում, երբ տեղի է ունենում հեղափոխություն/հեղաշրջում)։

Բոլոր ավտորիտար իշխանությունները սիրում են հայտարարել, որ իրենք օր առաջ ուզում են թողնել պաշտոնը և վերադառնալ նախկին կյանքին։ Իրականում, սակայն, ամեն ինչ անում են, որպեսզի ցմահ կառչած մնան պաշտոնից։ Հնարավորություն դեպքում նաև ժառանգեն այդ պաշտոնը տնեցիներին։

Շտապեմ բոլորիդ հանգստացնել, որ մեզ դա չի սպառնում։ Ամեն ինչ մոտենում է անփառունակ ավարտին։ Կարևորն այն է, որ ցնցումներ չլինեն»։
