1812-ծնվել է հասարակական և կրոնական գործիչ Գաբրիել Այվազյանը։ 1907-ծնվել է կոմպոզիտոր Գուրգեն Ալեմշահը։
1919-կապված հայկական բանակի մուտքի հետ՝ սկսվել է անգլիական ուժերի էվակուացիան Նախիջևանից, որոշվել է թողնել միայն ռազմական ներկայացուցչություն լեյտենանտ Շվիդի ղեկավարությամբ։
1924-ծնվել է մեծ շանսոնյե Շառլ Ազնավուրը։
1929-ծնվել է դերասան Արմեն Խոստիկյանը։
1939-ծնվել է ռազմական գործիչ, գեներալ Արկադի Տեր-Թադևոսյանը՝ Կոմանդոսը։ 1950-ծնվել է լեզվաբան Լավրենտի Միրզոյանը։
1957-Մոսկվայի Մեծ թատրոնում տեղի է ունեցել Արամ Խաչատրյանի «Գայանե» բալետի պրեմիերան։
1988-Երևանում սկսվել է նստացույց ԼՂՀ շրջկոմի դիմումին ընթացք տալու պահանջով։
2002- Ընդդիմադիր համագործակցությունը (13 ընդդիմադիր քաղաքական կուսակցություններ ու հասարակական կազմակերպություններ) առժամանակ դադարեցրել է «Ա1+» հեռուստաընկերությանը կապուղուց զրկելու առիթով սկսված և աստիճանաբար իշխանափոխության պահանջների վերածված հրապարակային միջոցառումները:
2005- Հայաստանի վարչապետ Անդրանիկ Մարգարյանի որդին՝ 27-ամյա Տարոն Մարգարյանը, ընտրվել է մայրաքաղաքի Ավանի թաղապետ:
2006-Հայաստանի Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Արթուր Բաղդասարյանը հրաժարականի դիմում է ներկայացրել:
2018-որոշվել է, որ պետական բուհերն իրենց բյուջեի 2 տոկոսն այլևս չեն փոխանցի Հայաստանի երիտասարդական հիմնադրամին:

337-վախճանվել է Հռոմի կայսր Կոնստանդին 1-ին Մեծը։
853-Նորվեգիայի թագավորի որդի Օլաֆ Սպիտակը ընդունել է վիկինգների և դանիացիների հպատակությունը Իռլանդիայում և Դուբլինը հայտարարել է մայրաքաղաք։
1455-Սենտ Օլբանսի առաջին ճակատամարտով սկսվել է Կարմիր և Սպիտակ վարդերի պատերազմը։
1807-ադմիրալ Սենյավինի ղեկավարած՝ Ռուսական Կայսրության ռազմածովային նավատորմը ջախջախել է թուրքական նավատորմը Դարդանել յան ճակատամարտում։
1813-ծնվել է գերմանացի կոմպոզիտոր Ռիխարդ Վագները։
1859-ծնվել է հայտնի անգլիացի գրող, Շերլոկ Հոլմսի կերպարի ստեղծող Արթուր Կոնան Դոյլը։
1868-Ինդիանա նահանգի Մարշվիլդա բնակավայրի մոտ տեղի է ունեցել «Գնացքի մեծ առևանգումը»։
1879-ծնվել է ուկրաինացի ռազմական և քաղաքական գործիչ Սեմյոն Պետլ յուրան։ 1885-վախճանվել է ֆրանսիացի գրող Վիկտոր Հյուգոն։
1892-Նյու Յորքում բժիշկ Վաշինգտոն Շեֆֆիլդը արտոնագրել է ատամի մածուկը։
1900 -ՆյուՅորքում հիմնադրվել է «Associated Press» տեղեկատվական գործակալությունը։
1906-Ռայտ եղբայրները արտոնագրել են իրենց թռչող սարքը՝ ինքնաթիռը։
1926-Իտալիայում Մուսոլինին արգելել է գեղեցկության մրցույթները՝ անվանելով նման միջոցառումները անբարոյական։
1950-Չինաստանի կառավարությունը Տիբեթին առաջարկել է տարածքային ինքնավարություն՝ այդ տարածքում կոմունիստական իշխանություն հաստատելու պայմանով։
1960-Հարավային Ամերիկայում տեղի է ունեցել Մեծ չիլիական երկրաշարժը։
2004- Պերուում մեծ բախում է տեղի ունեցել ոստիկանության և կոկա աճեցնող գյուղացիների միջև ։
2007-Թուրքիայի Անկարա քաղաքի պատմական կենտրոնում տեղի է ունեցել ահաբեկչական գործողություն, զոհվել է մի քանի մարդ։
2010-Հնդկաստանի Մանգալուրե տարածքում վթարվել է Բոինգ ինքնաթիռը, զոհվել է 158 մարդ։
