«Այլ բան որ չասենք, երեկ Սերժ Սարգսյանի վարքագիծը քննադատել է նույնիսկ ռուսաստանցի հայտնի քաղաքագետ Սերգեյ Մարկեդոնովը: Վերջինս նույնպես նշել է, որ Հայաստանի իշխանությունների նյարդերը տեղի են տվել՝ բողոքի ակցիան ճնշելով: Ու բացատրել է դա.

 «2015 թվականի հունիսին տեղի ունեցած բողոքի ակցիաները հիմնականում սոցիալական բնույթ են կրում: Իսկ ո՞ւմ դուր կգա սակագների բարձրացումը: Ընդվզմանը սպասում էին: Դնռևս մայիսի վերջին, երբ ես Երևանում էի, խոսում էին էներգետիկ համակարգի ներկայացուցիչների «բեսպրեդելի» մասին: Խոսում էին և՛ շարքային քաղաքացիները, և՛ փորձագետները: Հարցն այն էր, թե այդ ընդվզումը ով առաջ կտանի: Ու իշխանությունների նյարդերը տեղի տվեցին: Դա վատ նշան է: Զսպվածությունը չհերիքեց, իսկ սա Կովկասն է, այստեղ նման բաները հիշում են»:

 Ինչու ենք մենք այսպես կարևորել հատկապես Մարկեդոնովի կարծիքը, որովհետև երեկ ռուսական, այսպես ասած, իշխանամետ լրատվամիջոցները առավոտյան բռնությունները այլ կերպ էին լուսաբանում: Համարյա թե, ցուցարարները դանակներով, կաստետներով հարձակվել են ոստիկանների վրա, որ սա Մայդանն է, ամերիկացիների սարքածն է և այլն: Բայց Մարկեդոնովը, ի պատիվ իրեն, փորձել է օբյեկտիվ և սթափ գնահատել տեղի ունեցածը: Նա էլ է, ի դեպ, նշել, որ Բաղրամյանում կատարվածը որևէ կապ չունի «գունավոր հեղափոխությունների» հետ, քանի որ դրանք զուտ սոցիալական ուղղվածություն ունեցող ընդվզումներ էին»,–գրում է թերթը։
