INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ չի հավատում, որ Չինաստանը կարող էր դիտավորյալ տարածել կորոնավիրուսային վարակը:
«Չինաստանը սարսափելի բան արեց, բայց ես չեմ հավատում, որ նրանք դա արել են հատուկ նպատակով», - ասել է Թրամփը Fox News-ին տված հարցազրույցում ՝ հավելելով, որ վիրուսը կարող էր «տարածվել Չինաստանի սահմաններից դուրս» ոչ կոմպետենտության պատճառով:
Հիշեցնենք, որ ԱՄՆ իշխանությունները, ներառյալ նախագահը, պարբերաբար մեղադրում էին Չինաստանին՝ կորոնավիրուսի տարածումը չզսպելու, փաստերի կոծկման և ժամանակին արձագանքելու անկարողության մեջ: Կորոնավիրուսային պանդեմիան սկսվել է Չինաստանում, սակայն ԱՄՆ-ը շարունակում է մնալ տուժած երկիր ամենաշատ դեպքերի ու մահացությունների թվով:
Ավելի վաղ պետքարտուղար Մայք Պոմպեոն վարկած էր առաջարկել, որ վիրուսը կարող է «փախչել» Ուհան քաղաքի լաբորատորիաներից, որտեղ նրանք ուսումնասիրում են կորոնավիրուսները: Չինաստանը հերքում է մեղադրանքները:
