Հայտարարությունում ասվում է.

«Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,

Աշխատանքը քաղաքակրթության շարժիչ ուժերից է: Աշխատանքի միջոցով է մարդն ինքնիրացվում, արժեք ստեղծում՝ միաժամանակ ապահովելով իր և իր ընտանիքի բարեկեցությունը: Աշխատանքն է նաև հանրային բարեկեցության հիմքը:

Վստահ եմ, որ կազմակերպված, արդյունավետ ու խելացի աշխատանքի միջոցով Հայաստանը կարողանալու է համարձակ ցատկ կատարել ու անցնել զարգացող երկրներից զարգացածների շարքը: Այս հավակնոտ օրակարգը կյանքի կոչելու համար առանցքային է մարդկային կապիտալի՝ կանանց ու տղամարդկանց գիտելիքների, կարողությունների ու հմտությունների շարունակական զարգացումը:

Հետևապես, կրթության ու գիտության առաջընթացը պետք է լինեն մեր գերակայությունը:

Առանցքային է նաև, որ աշխատողների իրավունքները պաշտպանված լինեն և աշխատանք-ժամանց ներդաշնակություն ունենանք: Չնայած այս հարցում ունեցած զգալի ձեռբերումների՝ դեռ երկար ճանապարհ պետք է անցնենք ցանկալիին հասնելու համար: Այս ուղղությամբ ևս կհաջողենք միայն աշխատող-գործատու-հանրային իշխանության մարմիններ սերտ համագործակցության ու երկխոսության միջոցով:

Շնորհավորում եմ բոլորիս Աշխատանքի և աշխատավորների միջազգային օրվա կապակցությամբ: Համոզված եմ, որ համատեղ աշխատանքով կկերտենք հզոր ու հաջողակ Հայաստան:
