Ալեքսանդր Եսայանը հանդես է եկել հայտարարությամբ. «Ինպես ես և եղբայրս բազմիցս նշել ենք ելույթներում և հայտարարություններում, Ucom ընկերության բաժնետերերի, մասնավորապես մեր և Խաչատրյան եղբայրների, միջև ծագել է բացառապես բիզնեսի զարգացման վերաբերյալ անհամաձայնությունների պատճառով: Կառավարման պաշտոնից հրաժարվելը քայլ էր, որը կատարվեց այն ժամանակ, երբ պարզ դարձավ Խաչատրյանների ետնաբեմային պայմանավորվածությունների մասին: Ապրիլի 20-ին, երբ նոր տնօրենի պաշտոնը ստանձնեց Ա. Խաչատրյանը, մենք գրանցել ենք նոր կազմակերպություն, որն այժմ արդեն ստրատեգիական պլանավորման փուլում է: Չեմ կարող հասկանալ Գ. Խաչատրյանի ելույթի «հասարակական ճնշում» եզրույթը և կրկին հաստատում եմ, որ մենք միայն շարժվել ենք բիզնես տրամաբանությամբ, բանակցել ձեռքբերման գնի շուրջ, բացատրել դրա ձևավորման բիզնես տրամաբանությունը, և առաջարկել մոտ 180մլն ԱՄՆ դոլարին համարժեք գումար կազմակերպության մոտ 94% բաժնետոմսերի համար: Մեր բանակցությունները և բիզնես պայմանավորվածությունները երբեք կապված չեն եղել պետության և Խաչատրյան ընտանիքի միջև ծագած խնդիրների հետ: Վստահեցնում ենք, որ նոր հիմնադրված կազմակերպությունը կբարձրացնի Հայաստանում և տարածաշրջանում հեռահաղորդակցության և թվային ծառայությունների որակի ընկալումը և կդառնա առաջատար հայկական կազմակերպություն»:
