Մտավոր ակտիվության բարձրացում
Սուրճը բարձրացնում է մարդու ուշադրությունն ու կենտրոնանալու ունակությունը, սակայն խոսքը վերաբերում է միայն քաղցր սուրճին, քանի որ կոֆեինի և գլյուկոզայի խառնուրդ է ձեզ կարճ ժամանակով հանճար դարձնում: Սակայն մի ըմպեք սուրճ դատարկ փորին, այդ պարագայում այն հակառակ էֆեկտն է ունենում:
Բարձրանում է ճնշումը
Սուրճն օգնում է հիպերտոնիայի պարագայում, երբ ճնշումն ընկնում է, սակայն եթե սուրճից արագանում է նաև ձեր պուլսը, ապա ըմպել հարկավոր չէ: Հիպերտոնիկներին այն հակացուցված չէ, քանի որ օրգանիզմը ժանանակի հետ սովորում է էլ ավելի բարձր ճնշման:

Բնական սուրճում պարունակվող կոֆեինն ունակ է հաղթահարելու գլխացավը: Իհարկե, սուրճը չի կարող լիովին փոխարինել անալգետիկներին:
Հակասթրես և հակադեպրեսանտ
