1915-ծնվել է հայ նկարչուհի Ռեգինա Ղազարյանը։
1922 – Արշավիր Շիրակյանն ու Արամ Երկանյանը Բեռլինում սպանել են Տրապիզոնի նահանգի նախկին նահանգապետ Ջեմալ Ազմիին (որը հրամայել էր Տրապիզոնում 15000 հայ երեխաներին ծովում խեղդել) և «Թեշքիլաթն մահսուսե» կազմակերպության հիմնադիր Բեհաեդդին Շաքիրին:
1932-ծնվել է հայ քաղաքական և պետական գործիչ, ՀԽՍՀ ԿԿ կենտկոմի առաջին քարտուղար, ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Կարեն Դեմիրճյանը։
1975-վախճանվել է արձակագիր Վիգեն Խեչումյանը։
2006-Իրաքում գրոհայինների կողմից շուրջ 130 օր պատանդ պահված կիպրոսահայ Կարապետ Ջեքերջյանը վերադարձել է Նիկոսիա:
2008-մեկնարկել է «Ազգային պատկերասրահ» միջազգային չորրորդ փառատոնը:
2009-Բագրատաշենի շուկայի փակումից երկու տարի հետո կրկին փորձ է արվել հայվրացական սահմանում վերականգնել առևտուրը, և նման տիպի շուկա է բացել Բագրատաշենի բնակիչներից մեկը:
2015-«Նաիրիտ» գործարանի աշխատողների խումբը հանդիպել է վարչապետի հետ: Հանդիպումից հետո նրանք լրագրողներին փոխանցել են, որ քննարկվել են և՛ աշխատավարձերի, և՛ գործարանի վերագործարկման հարցերը, սակայն հանդիպման արդյունքից դժգոհել են՝ նշելով, որ ակնկալում էին ոչ թե մեկ, այլ մի քանի ամիսների վարձատրություն։
2018-ոստիկանական ուժերի լիակատար շրջափակման պայմաններում Ազգային ժողովը վարչապետ ընտրեց Սերժ Սարգսյանին:
-Սերժ Սարգսյանի իշխանավարման ժամկետի երկարաձգման դեմ պայքարի դուրս եկած «Ելք» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հայտարարել է, որ մեկնարկում է ժողովրդական, ոչ-բռնի, թավշյա հեղափոխությունը:

1607-21-ամյա Արման Ժան Դյու Պլեսսի Դե Ռիշել յեն՝ Ֆրանսիայի ապագա հզոր կարդինալը, ձեռնադրվել է եպիսկոպոս։
1722- Ռուսաստանում Պետրոս 1-ինը 50 ռուբլու չափով հարկ է դրել մորուք պահելու համար։
1790-վախճանվել է ամերիկացի լուսավորող, գիտնական և քաղաքական գործիչ Բենջամին Ֆրանկլինը
1837-վախճանվել է ամերիկացի ֆինանսիստ, արդյունաբերող, «Ջեներալ էլեկտրիկս» ընկերության հիմնադիր Ջոն Պիրպոնտ Մորգանը։
1839- Կենտրոնական Ամերիկայի հանրապետությունների ֆեդերացիայի փլուզումից հետո առաջացել է Գվատեմալա պետությունը։ 1856-Կանադայի մայրաքաղաք է դարձել Քվեբեկ քաղաքը։
1875-Հնդկաստանում բրիտանական զորքերի գնդապետ Նեվիլլ Չեմբերլենը մտածել և ստեղծել է «Սնուկեր» բիլիարդային խաղը։
1891-ռուսական ցար Ալեքսանդր Երրորդը հրապարակել է հրաման Տարնսսիբի՝ Մեծ սիբիրյան ճանապարհի կառուցման մասին։
1919-Ֆրանսիայում սահմանվել է 8 ժամյա աշխատանքային օր։
1946-Ֆրանսիան ճանաչել է Սիրիայի անկախությունը։
1968-ծնվել է Ռուսաստանի ժողովրդական արտիստուհի, էստրադային երգչուհի Վալերիան։
1975-Կամբոջայում ընթացող քաղաքացիական պատերազմում Կարմիր կխմերներին հաջողվել է գրավել երկրի մայրաքաղաք Պնոմպենը։
1980-Հարավային Ռոդեզիան վերանվանվել է Մոզամբիկ։
1982-Անգլիայի թագուհի Ելիզավետա 2-րդը Կանադան հայտարարել է լրիվ անկախ երկիր և ճանաչել է Կանադայի նոր Սահմանադրությունը։
2011-«ՆՎՕ» հեռուստաընկերությունը ցուցադրել է «Գահերի խաղը» հեռուստասերիալի առաջին սերիան։
