Էլեկտրաէներգիայի թանկցման դեմ բողոքող հազարավոր քաղաքացիները փողոցից մի քանի մեծ աղբարկղ են բերել Բաղրամյան պողոտա, որոնք տեղադրել են հենց ոստիկանական շղթայի առջեւ։ Նրանց խոսքով` իրենք աղբարկղները բերել են ոստիկաններից պաշտպանվելու` առաջին շարքերում անվտանգության գիծ սարքելու նպատակով։

Միաժամանակ, կազմակերպիչները պարբերաբար հորդորում են հավաքվածներին ոստիկանների ուղղությամբ ոչինչ չնետել եւ անել  ամեն ինչ, որպեսզի ոստիկանները որեւէ հիմք չունենան ուժ կիրառելու։ Ակտիվիստները վստահեցնում են, որ իրենց շարքերում սադրիչներ կան, եւ իրենք անում են ամեն ինչ նրանց չեզոքացնելու համար։

Ոստիկանները որոշ ժամանակ պողոտա բերված աղբարկղներին որեւէ կերպ չէին արձագանքում։ Սակայն քիչ առաջ Երեւանի փոխոստիկանապետ Վալերի Օսիպյանը  հորդորեց ակցիայի կազմակերպիչներին անհապաղ հեռացնել աղբամանները բանուկ մասից` դրանք Բաղրամյան պողոտա բերելն անվանելով սադրանք։ Նա նաեւ նշեց, որ սադրիչներին պետք է փնտրել ցուցարարների շարքում, նրանք, ըստ փոխոստիկանապետի, զինված են քարերով։ Օսիպյանը կոչ արեց հեռացնել նրանց` նշելով, որ հակառակ դեպքում պատասխանատվությունը կրելու է համակարգող խումբը։ Երեւանի փոխոստիկանապետը նաեւ վստահեցրեց, որ ոստիկանությունը որեւէ գործողություն չի ձեռնարկելու, քանի որ ակցիան կրում է խաղաղ բնույթ։

Նշենք, որ  լարվածությունը Բաղրամյան պողոտայում չի նվազում։ Նախագահական նստավայրի ճանապարհին արդեն երկրորդ օրը ցուցարարները ստիպված էին կանգնել Բաղրամյանի սկզբնամասում` մի քանի շարքով կանգնած ոստիկանական շղթային դեմ–հանդիման։

Նրանք պարբերաբար վանկարկում են «Մենք ենք տերը մեր երկրի», «Ազատ, անկախ Հայաստան», սուլում են ու ծափահարում։

Ոստիկանները նունպես ոչինչ չեն ձեռնարկում։ Երբ ցուցարարները նոր էին հասել Բաղրամյան, Երեւանի փոխոստիկանապետ Վալերի Օսիպյանը եւս մեկ փորձ արեց նրանց հետ համաձայնության գալու, սակայն ցուցարարները հայտարարեցին, որ ոստիկանության հետ որեւէ կոնտակտի չեն գնալու։

Բաղրամյանում  է նաեւ ԱԺ «Ժառանգություն» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Զարուհի Փոստանջյանը, որը լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց, որ միայն Բաղրամյան պողոտայում եւ Ազատության հրապարակում հավաքվելը բավարար չէ. «Հանրապետության բոլոր հրապարակները պետք է լցվեն, որպեսզի ոստիկանական ուժերը չբավականացնեն բիրտ ուժի կիրառման համար»։
