Մոտ 50 հանրապետական կոնգրեսական Սաուդյան Արաբիայի թագաժառանգ Մոհամմադ բին Սալմանին հայտնել են, որ Վաշինգտոնի եւ Էր Ռիյադի միջեւ տնտեսական եւ ռազմական համագործակցությունը վտանգի տակ կհայտնվի, եթե թագավորությունը չօգնի կայունացնել նավթի գները` կրճատելով նավթի արդյունահանումը, փոխանցում է Reuters-ը:

 

«Եթե թագավորությունն արդար կերպով չգործի` այս արհեստական էներգետիկ ճգնաժամին վերջ տալու համար, մենք կաջակցենք ցանկացած պատասխան գործողությանը, որն ԱՄՆ կառավարությունը տեղին կհամարի»,- նշվում է թագաժառանգին ուղղված նամակում, որը ստորագրվել է 48 օրենսդրի կամ դեմոկրատների կողմից վերահսկվող Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի հանրապետականների մոտ մեկ քառորդի կողմից:

 

Նավթի գները կտրուկ անկում են ապրել պահանջարկի կրճատման պատճառով, ինչը կապված է կորոնավիրուսի բռնկման եւ առաջարկի ավելցուկի հետ: Մեծ պարտքերով ԱՄՆ նավթային ընկերություններին սնանկություն եւ աշխատակազմի կրճատում է սպառնում գների անկման պատճառով: Նամակը ստորագրած օրենսդիրներից շատերը նավթ արդյունահանող նահանգներ են ներկայացնում:

 

Հինգշաբթի ՕՊԵԿ+ խումբը հանդիպում կանցկացնի, որից հետո անդամ երկները կարող են պայմանավորվել արդյունահանման կրճատման մասին` շուկաների կայունացման նպատակով:

 

«Եթե այս էներգետիկ ճգնաժամի դեմ պայքարի միջոցներ չձեռնարկվեն, դա կվտանգի տնտեսական եւ ռազմական համագործակցությանն ուղղված մեր երկրների համատեղ ջանքերը»,- նշվում է նամակում: «ԱՄՆ ռազմական ներկայությունը Մերձավոր Արեւելքում կայունություն է պահպանում, որը նպաստում է տնտեսական բարգավաճմանը եւ ապահովում է մեր երկրների անվտանգությունը»:
