Համաճարակը որոշ ոլորտներում առաջ է բերել անսպասելի զարգացումներ։ Ինքնամեկուսացման ռեժիմը հանգեցրել է վնասակար արտանետումների շեշտակի կրճատման, ինչն արագորեն նկատել են խոշոր քաղաքների բնակիչները։

Միևնույն ժամանակ տնտեսության բազմաթիվ ճյուղեր կաթվածահար են եղել՝ հանգեցնելով լուրջ ֆինանսական կորուստների։ Շատերը սկսել են մտահոգվել տարրական էներգետիկ անվտանգության վերաբերյալ։ Նրանք, ովքեր արդեն ունեին արևային էլեկտրակայան, զգացին դրանց երկրորդ կարևոր առավելլությունը՝ անվտանգության ապահովումը բացի ֆինանսները խնայելուց։Օրինակ, Տեխասում, որը հայտնի է որպես Ամերիկայի «նավթային նահանգ», կտրուկ աճել է ոչ միայն արևային էլեկտրակայանների, այլ նաև կուտակիչ մարտկոցներիվաճառքը․ մարդիկ տեղադրում են ավտոնոմ էլեկտրակայաններ, որպեսզի լիովին անկախ լինեն էլցանցից։ Դա ինչ-որ չափով պայմանավորվում է անկախության ձգտումով, եթե իրավիճակը կտրուկ վատթարանա։

 

Մտահոգված են նաև կառավարությունները, որոնք,ցանկանալով թույլ չտալ էլցանցերի գերբեռնվածություն, խրախուսում են արագ անցումը արևային էներգիային։ Մեծ Բրիտանիան, օրինակ, վերսկսել է արևային կայանները սուբսիդավորելու 4 տարի առաջ դադարեցված ծրագիրը։ Իսկ Ֆրանսիան ապրիլի 2-ին 960 Մեգավատտ գումարային հզորությամբ արևային էլեկտրակայանների մրցույթ է հայտարարել։

Ճգնաժամը ստիպում է բոլորին վերանայել շատ հարցեր, և սա ճիշտ ժամանակն է, որպեսզի նաև Հայաստանի կառավարությունը ձեռնարկի կոնկրետ քայլեր երկրի էներգետիկ անվտանգությունն ապահովելու համար՝ օրինակ, հատուկ պայմաններ ստեղծի արևային կայաններ և ջրատաքացուցիչներ տեղադրող ֆիզիկական անձանց, հատկապես շարունակաբար էլեկտրաէներգիայի սուբսիդավորում ստացող սահմանամերձ համայնքների բնակիչների համար։ Սա կնվազեցնի մաշված էլեկտրացանցի ծանրաբեռնվածությունը և ռուսական գազի սպառումը, որն իդեպ կրկին շուտով թանկանալու է panorama.am/am/news/2020/04/03/Փաստ/2267812 ։ Մեկ այլ խթան կարող է հանդիսանալ նաև արդյունաբերական կայանների կառուցման արտահերթ լիցենզիաների տրամադրումը և ֆինանսավորումը ցածր տոկոսադրույքներով։ Հայաստանի համար հատկապես կարևոր է օր առաջ ընդունել այս որոշումները, քանի որ մենք էներգետիկ մեծ կախվածություն ունենք ներմուծվող էներգակիրներից։
