Ադրբեջանում դատապարտված լրագրողն արժանացել է միջազգային պարգեւի

Շվեդիայում երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի ժամանակ նացիստների դեմ իր դիրքորոշմամբ հայտնի Գյոթեբորգի Handels-och-Sjofarstidning (GHT) լիբերալ թերթն Ադրբեջանում դատապարտված լրագրող Խադիջա Իսմայիլովային արժանացրել է «Holme տարվա հերոս» պարգեւի:

Այս մասին, հայտնում է «Ամերիկայի ձայն» ռադիոկայանը:

Պարգեւն անվանվել է շվեդ գրող Յան Ֆրիդեգերադի եռապատման հերոսի անունով:

Թերթը Խադիջա Իսմայիլովային այդ պարգեւին արժանացրել է մասնագիտական պարտականության կատարումը վտանգներից ավելի բարձր դասելու համար:

Թերթն այդ պարգեւին ավելի վաղ արժանացրել է ԱՄՆ-ի ազգային անվտանգության գործակալության նախկին պայմանագրային աշխատակից Էդվարդ Սնոուդենին, Wikileaks կայքի հիմնադիր Ժուլիան Ասանժին եւ մեքսիկացի հետազոտող լրագրող Լիդիա Կաչոյին:

«Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանի աշխատակից Խադիջա Իսմայիլովան Կազմակերպված հանցագործությունների եւ կոռուպցիայի դեմ լրագրողական նախագծի` OCCRP խմբի առաջատար հետազոտող լրագրողներից մեկն էր:

Իսմայիլովայի նկատմամբ սկզբում «ինքնասպանության հասցնելու» մեղադրանք, իսկ հետո «խոշոր չափերի յուրացում եւ զեղծարարության», «ապօրինի ձեռնարկատիրության», «հարկերի վճարումից խուսափելու», «պաշտոնեական լիազորությունները չարաշահելու» կեղծ մեղադրանքներ են առաջադրվել:

Լրագրողը Ադրբեջանում ձերբակալվել է անցյալ տարվա դեկտեմբերի 5-ին` նախկին գործընկերոջն ինքնասպանության հասցնելու շինծու մեղադրանքով, որը հետագայում չեղարկվել է: Հիշյալ մեղադրանքներով Խադիջա Իսմայիլովան Ադրբեջանում դատապարտվել է 7,5 տարի ժամկետով ազատազրկման:

Խադիջա Իսմայիլովան Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունների թիրախ է դարձել իր լրագրողական գործունեության համար: Իսմայիլովան Ադրբեջանում իշխանության վերին էշելոններում կոռուպցիոն փաստերի լրագրողական հետաքննությունների հեղինակ է, որոնց արդյունքում բացահայտվել է նաեւ Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիեւի եւ նրա ընտանիքի օֆշորյան գոտիներում ունեցած հարյուրավոր միլիոն դոլարիների հասնող ունեցվածքը: Վերջին տարիներին նա թոք-շոու էր վարում «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանի ադրբեջանական ծառայությունում:

Խադիջա Իսմայիլովան արժանացել է նաեւ միջազգային հեղինակավոր Alison Des Forges, ԱՄՆ-ի Ազգային մամուլի ակումբի Մամուլի ազատության, միջազգային «PEN/Barbara Goldsmith գրելու ազատություն» եւ Շվեդիայի ազգային մամուլի ակումբի «Աննա Պոլիտկովսկայա խոսքի ազատություն» պարգեւներին:
