SOCIETYԿորոնավիրուսը օդով փոխանցելու հավանականություն կա, բայց վարակի փոխանցման գերակշիռ մասն, իհարկե, բաժին է ընկնում հիվանդության ախտանիշ ունեցող մարդկանց կողմից օդակաթիլային ճանապարհով փոխանցելուն: Այս մասին Ժնևում կայացած ճեպազրույցում ասաց ԱՀԿ շտապօգնության ծրագրի տնօրեն Մայքլ Ռայանը: «Այս պահին շատ հոդվածներ են հրապարակվում վիրուսի ասիմպտոմատիկ փոխանցման մեթոդների վերաբերյալ: Սինգապուրում կարծես թե եկել են այն եզրահանգմանը, որ վարակի ասիմպտոմատիկ փոխանցումը կազմում է 6%: Ես դա չեմ վիճարկի, բայց, միևնույն ժամանակ, վարակների 94% -ը փոխանցվում է ախտանիշ ունեցող մարդկանցից։ Այնպես որ, մենք պետք է կենտրոնանանք, թե հատկապես որն է այս համաճարակի շարժիչը: Միշտ էլ կա վիրուսը առանց ախտանիշների կամ օդով փոխանցելու հնարավորությունը, բայց այս դեպքում մենք դեռ հակված ենք կարծելու, որ համաճարակի շարժիչը փռշտոցն է, հազը, կամ աղտոտված մակերեսների հետ առնչվելը», - ասել է նա:
Ըստ նրա, ԱՀԿ փորձագիտական խումբն այժմ ուսումնասիրում է առողջ մարդկանց կողմից պաշտպանական դիմակների օգտագործման արդյունավետությունը: Այնուամենայնիվ, առաջնահերթությունը մնում է վիրաբուժական և հատուկ բժշկական դիմակների տրամադրումը բժիշկներին, որոնք ներկայումս գտնվում են COVID-19- ի դեմ պայքարի առաջնագծում:
