Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի խմբագրականից մի հատված.

«Կփոխվի Սահմանադրությունը, թե ոչ՝ կուսակցությունները թերևս պետք Է մտածեն, թե ում են նրանք «գործուղում» խորհրդարան։ Թե կիսանախագահական և թե խորհրդարանական մոդելի դեպքում Ազգային ժողովի դերը հսկայական Է, իսկ քաղաքացիների վերաբերմունքը պետական ինստիտուտների նկատմամբ ձևավորվում Է պատգամավորների մտավոր մակարդակի գնահատականներից։ Այս պահին օրենսդիրների մեծ մասի մակարդակը ահավոր ցածր Է։ Մենք ասամ ենք՝ Ազգային ժողով, հասկանամ ենք՝ Շմայս, գեներալ Մանվել, Թոխմախի Մհեր և այլն։ Միայն երեք խմբակցաթյաններ՝ ՀԱԿ-ը, «Ժառանգությունը» և Դաշնակցությունը 100 տոկոսով կազմված են գրագիտության որոշակի նշաձող ունեցող մարդկանցից, մնացած խմբակցություններում կան  «շմայսատիպ» երևույթներ։

Հայաստանի քաղաքացիների միջին մտավոր մակարդակն ավելի բարձր է, քան մեր Ազգային ժողովի միջին մակարդակը։ Մեր երկրում ապրում են տարբեր ոլորտների, այդ թվում նաև իրավագիտության և տնտեսագիտության փայլուն մասնագետներ, որոնց ներուժը հնարավոր Է օգտագործել օրենսդիր աշխատանքում։ Կուսակցությունները, որոնք հավակնում են տեղ ունենալ խորհրդարանում, ունեն շատ մեծ հնարավորություններ օգտվելու այդ ոեսուրսից։ Պարտադիր չէ՝ մարդիկ պատզամավոր դառնան  զոռբայաթյամբ,   բռնությամբ  կամ  փողով։

Բայց Եթե, այնաամենայնիվ, որևէ մեկը հայտնվել է խորհրդարանում և իրեն պահում է «պատզամավորին ոչ հարիր ձևով», ապա մի քանի նախազզաշացումից հետո նա պետք է զրկվի մանդատից։ Երեկ Ազգային ժողովի էթիկայի հանձնաժողովը հենց այդպիսի որոշում Էր ընդունել՝ իր հայհոյախաոն լեզվով հայտնի Առաքել Մովսիսյանի (Շմայսի) մասին։ Բայց նման արձանազրամից Շմայսին ոչ տաք Է, ոչ պաղ։ Նա, վստահաբար, կշարունակի իրեն պահել Ազգային ժողովամ այնպես, ինչպես պահում  Է իր քյաբաբնոցներում»,–գրում է թերթի խմբագիրը։
