Պեկինի բժշկական կենտրոններից մեկում գիտնականների միջազգային խումբը հետազոտություն է իրականցարել և բացահայտել օրգանիզմում նոր տեսակի կորոնավիրուսի պահպանման ժամանակը․ գիտական աշխատանքի արդյունքները հրապարակվել են ATSJournals ամսագրում։
Հետազոտության արդյունքների համաձայն՝ COVID-19-ով վարակվածների կեսի մոտ կորոնավիրուսը օրգանիզմում պահպանվում է 1-8 օր, անգամ բոլոր ախտանշանների վերացումից հետո․ այս պատճառով գիտնականները անհրաժեշտ են համարում կորոնավիրուսից բուժվածների կարանտինային գոտին մեկից երկու շաբաթով երկարաձգել։
Մասնագետները հետազոտել են միջինը 35․5 տարեկան 16 հիվանդի, որոնք բուժում են անցել 2020 թվականի հունվարի 28-ից մինչև փետրվարի 9-նն ընկած ժամանակահատվածում։ Նրանք բոլորն այժմ առողջ են և կորոնավիրուսի առկայությունը ստուգող թեստը բացասական պատասխան է ցույց տվել։
Հետազոտության մասնակից թոքաբան Լոկեշ Շարման նշում է, որ հիվանդությունը նրանցից յուրաքանչյուրի մոտ տարբեր աստիճանի բարդությամբ է դրսևորվել, ինկուբացիոն շրջանը միջինը հինգ օր է տևել, բոլորի մոտ եղել է բարձր ջերմություն, հազ, կոկորդի ցավ և շնչահեղձություն։
Հայտնի է, որ ամբողջ աշխարհում նոր տեսակի կորոնավիրուսով վարակվածների թիվը հասել է 614,231-ի, որից 28 240՝ մահվան ելքով։ Հիվանդությունից ապաքինվել է ավելի քան 137,328 մարդ։
