1.Երբեք առանց զանգելու հյուր մի գնացեք: Եթե ձեզ այցելել են առանց նախազգուշացման, դուք կարող եք լինել տնային խալաթով ու բիգուդիով: Մի բրիտանուհի ասում էր, որ երբ իր տուն անկոչ հյուրեր են գալիս, ինքը միշտ հագնում է կոշիկներ, գլխարկ է դնում ու հովանոց վերցնում: Եթե տվյալ մարդու այցելությունը նրան հաճելի է, ապա նա բացականչում է «Վայ, ինչ հաջող ստացվեց, ես հենց նոր տուն եկա»: Իսկ եթե տհաճ է՝ ասում է. «Վայ, ինչ ափսոս է, ես պետք է դուրս գամ»:

2. Հովանոցը երբեք չի կարելի չորացնել բաց վիճակում՝ ոչ աշխատավայրում, ոչ էլ որեւէ մեկի տանը: Այն պետք է փակել ու դնել հատուկ հենակի վրա կամ էլ կախել:

3. Պայուսակը չի կարելի դնել ծնկերին կամ էլ աթոռի վրա: Փոքրիկ քլաթչ պայուսակը կարելի է դնել սեղանի վրա, իսկ մեծ պայուսակը պետք է կախել աթոռի վրայից կամ գետնին դնել, եթե հատուկ աթոռ չկա (նման աթոռներ հաճախ են տրամադրում ռեստորաններում): Պորտֆելը դնում են գետնին:

4. Ցելոֆանե տոպրակները թույլատրելի են միայն սուպերմարկետից վերադառնալիս, այնպես ինչպես թղթե փաթեթները՝ բուտիկներից վերադառնալիս: Դրանք որպես պայուսակ ձեզ հետ վերցնելը տգեղ է:

5. Տղամարդը երբեք կանացի պայուսակ չի վերցնում: Եվ կանացի վերարկուն նույնպես նա վերցնում է միայն հանդերձարան հասցնելու համար:

6. Տնային հագուստը տաբատն է ու սվիտերը՝ հարմարավետ եւ վայելուչ տեսքով: Խալաթն ու գիշերազգեստը նախատեսված են առավոտյան մինչեւ լոգարան հասնելու համար, իսկ երեկոյան էլ՝ լոգարանից ննջարան:

7. Հենց երեխային առանձին սենյակ է տրամադրվում, սովորեք նրա սենյակ մտնելիս թակել դուռը: Այդ դեպքում նա նույնպես ձեր ննջարան մտնելիս կթակի դուռը:

8. Կինը կարող է տանը կամ աշխատասենյակում չհանել իր լայներիզ գլխարկն ու նրբագեղ ձեռնոցը, բայց ոչ թե ձմեռային տաք գլխարկն ու ձեռնոցը:
