Հանրային կյանքում հայտնվեց նոր դեմք՝ Արամ Վարդանյան (Վստրեչի Ապեր)։  Նա այսօր ամենավարկանիշային դեմքերից մեկն է։ Նրա մուտքը շռնդալից էր, նա կուսակցական չէ, քաղաքական ելույթներ չի ունեցել, չի քայլել, սուտ խոստումներ չի տվել։ Ուղղակի ստացվեց այնպես, որ սեփական տուն  ոստիկանության ներխուժումից հետո  մարդիկ սկսեցին նրա  մասին իմացած պատմությունները հրապարակայնացնել։

 

Ու հանկարծ պարզվեց, որ Արամ Վարդանյանը կարգին մարդ է։ Մինչ այդ նրա մասին խոսում էին բացառապես «քրեական հեղինակություն»  ձևակերպումով։ Բայց մի օր պարզվեց, որ այդ մարդը շատ դժվար պահերին իրեն պահել է ընդգծված պարկեշտ և, վստահ լինելով, որ ինքը ճիշտ է՝ վտանգի տակ է դրել սեփական անձը։

 

Նույնիսկ այն չէ էականը, որ ում համար նա շատ մեծ բան էր արել, տարիներ հետո դա չեն հիշի, դա չեն գնահատի։ Անկեղծ ասած, ինձ թվում էր, որ Հայկ Գևորգյանը կամ Փաշինյանների ընտանիքից որևէ մեկը կգնար այդ տուն և զուտ մարդկային աջակցություն կհայտներ տնեցիներին, հինգ տարեկան երեխային։ Պարզապես կարող էին հինգ րոպեով մտնել տուն՝ ուղղակի ցույց տալու համար, որ նրա արած լավությունը չեն մոռացել, չեն ուրացել։ Այդքան բան կարող էին, պարտավոր էին անել։

 

Ի դեպ, երբ ԱԱԾ պետ Արթուր Վանեցյանը հրաժարական տվեց, փաշինյանական մեդիահամակարգը, ի թիվս այլ բաների, նրան մեղադրում էր քրեականների հետ մոտիկություն անելու մեջ ու նշվում էր նաև Վստրեչի Ապերի անունը։  

 

Ու հիմա պարզվում է, որ հենց այդ լուրերը տարածողներն իրենք են շատ սերտ կապեր ունեցել վստրեչի Ապերի հետ։ Չէ, նրանք ընկեր չեն եղել, նրանք խնդրել են օգնություն, և այդ մարդը նրանց օգնել է։ Ու դա եղել է մի քանի տարի շարունակ։ 
Փաստորեն ստացվում է, որ այս իշխանությունը ստի լիմիտ չունի։ Ինչպես հայտնի է՝ «բռնեք գողին» առաջինը բացականչում է գողը։ Սա՝ որպես հետևություն բոլորիս համար։
