Ուզում եմ տեղեկացնել, որ եթե Հայաստանի Հանրապետության օրենսդրությամբ որևէ դատվածություն մարված է, ապա տվյալ անձը դատված չի համարվում: Պատմությունն ունի մոտ մեկ ու կես տասնյակի վաղեմություն, որը փորփրելով, մեր շատ սիրելի գործընկերները փորձել են իմ կյանքի վատ կամ մրոտ տեղերը գտնել: Այս մասին այսօր իր Ֆեյսբուքյան ուղիղ եթերի ժամանակ ասաց ՀՀ տարածքային կառավարման և ենթակառուցվածքների նախարար Սուրեն Պապիկյանը՝ անդրադառնալով երեկվանից իր մասին շրջանառվող այն թեմային, որ թաքցրել է, որ ժամանակին քրեական հոդվածով մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել իրեն, և դատապարտված է եղել։
«Երեկ հրապարակում կար առ այն, որ ես իմ կենսագրության մեջ ինչ-որ խմբագրումներ, սրբագրումներ եմ արել և թաքցրել եմ իմ կյանքի որոշ հատվածներ, մասնավորապես, դատվածության մասին տեղեկություն եմ թաքցրել։ Գրում են ինչ-որ կտրող-ծակող սուր գործիքների մասին, դա իրականությանը չի համապատասխանում, ես որևէ նման արարք չեմ արել: Իմ մասնակցությունը ոչ կանոնադրային հարաբերություններին է վերաբերում, նաև ես որևէ մեղք չեմ ընդունել, համաներմամբ ազատ եմ արձակվել ու դրանով համարվել է մարված իմ դատվածությունը, դա մոտավորապես եղել է 13-14 տարի առաջ», - ասաց նա։
Նախարարը ներկայացրեց, որ հայկական բանակում չի ծառայել, այդ ընթացքում են որոշ խնդիրներ եղել։ «Այն ամենը, ինչ ներկայացվել է, կա որոշակի ճշմարտություն, կա նաև որոշակի թյուր մատնություն»,- շեշտեց նա:
Պապիկյանը նշեց, որ պատմությունը չի թաքցվել ու բոլորն են իմացել այդ մասին։ Նա 2006 թվականի մարտի 27-ին դատապարտվել է 2 տարի 3 ամիս ազատազրկման, սակայն 2007 թվականի փետրվարի 23-ին համաներմամբ ազատ է արձակվել։
Նախարարը դիմեց ՀՀ ազգային անվտանգության ծառայության տնօրենին և ՀՀ ոստիկանության պետին՝ խնդրելով պարզել, թե ինչպես են իր անձնական տվյալները հասանելի դարձել որոշ լրատվամիջոցների:
Հիշեցնենք, որ մամուլում տեղեկություն էր տարածվել, որ «ՀՀ տարածքային կառավարման և ենթակառուցվածքների նախարար Սուրեն Պապիկյանը, որը նաև «Քաղպայմանագիր» կուսակցության վարչության նախագահն է և այժմ արդեն սահմանադրական հանրաքվեի «այո»-ի շտաբի ղեկավարը, թաքցրել է, որ ժամանակին քրեական հոդվածով մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել իրեն, և անգամ դատապարտված է եղել։
