ՆԱՏՕ-ն արդեն սկսել է արձագանքել Ռուսաստանի կողմից նոր հրթիռային համակարգերի մշակմանն ու տեղակայմանը: Այս մասին հայտարարել է ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Յենս Ստոլտենբերգը, հաղորդում է DW-ը:

 

«Մենք կքննարկենք ՆԱՏՕ-ի արձագանքը մարտահրավերին, որը ներկայացնում է Ռուսաստանի նոր հրթիռային համակարգերը»,- հստակեցրել է նա՝ հիշեցնելով, որ Մոսկվայի կողմից 9M729 հրթիռի մշակումը դարձել է Միջին եւ փոքր հեռահարության պայմանագրի գործողության դադարեցման պայմանագիրը: «Դա մարտահրավերներից մեկն է: Մենք կքննարկենք ռուսական հրթիռային համակարգերին մեր պատասխանը»,- հավելել է նա:

 

Ստոլտենբերգը հայտարարել է, որ 9M729-ը եւ ռուսական այլ հրթիռներ, ներառյալ՝ «Ավանգարդ» համակարգը, վերջին մի քանի տարում Ռուսաստանի պահվածքի սխեմայի մասն է: Խոսքը ինչպես միջուկային, այնպես էլ սովորական սպառազինության համակարգերում խոշոր ներդրումների մասին է: «ՆԱՏՕ-ն արդեն սկսել է արձագանքել դրան: Մենք մեծացրել են մեր ուժերի պատրաստվածությունը»,- նշել է Ստոլտենբերգը՝ հավելելով, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ի պատմության մեջ առաջին անգամ նման մասշտաբով զորքեր են ներկայացվել դաշինքի արեւելյան հատվածում:

 

Լավագույն պատասխանը, Ստոլտենբերգի խոսքով, սպառազինության արդյունավետ հսկողությունն է: «Մենք հայելային պատասխան կտանք Ռուսաստանին: Մենք մտադիր չենք Եվրոպայում նոր միջուկային համակարգեր տեղակայել»,- խոստացել է նա:
