Հինգ երկիր միացել է Թուրքիայի դեմ պատժամիջոցներ ընդունելու ԵՄ մեխանիզմին
INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱռնվազն 5 երկիր միացել է Թուրքիայի դեմ պատժամիջոցներ ընդունելու մեխանիզմին՝ Կիպրոսի էքսկլյուզիվ տնտեսական գոտում Կիպրոսի շելֆում անօրինական երկրաբանահետախուզական աշխատանքներ անցկացնելու պատճառով: Այս մասին նշված է ԵՄ Խորհրդի մամուլի հաղորդագրության մեջ, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
«[ԵՄ անդամակցության] թեկնածու երկրներ Հյուսիսային Մակեդոնիան, Մոնտենեգրոն, Սերբիան եւ Ալբանիան, ինչպես նաեւ Եվրոպական տնտեսական գոտու անդամ Իսլանդիան միացել են այս որոշմանը»,- նշված է հաղորդագրության մեջ: Փաստաթղթում նշվում է, որ հիմա հիշատակված երկրները պետք է այս որոշման հետ կապված իրենց քաղաքականությունը համաձայնեցնեն:
Անցյալ տարվա նոյեմբերին ԵՄ-ի կողմից հաստատված մեխանիզմը թույլ է տալիս պատժամիջոցներ սահմանել ֆիզիկական անձանց եւ ընկերությունների դեմ, որոնք պատասխանատու են հորատման գործունեության համար՝ կապված ածխածնային պաշարների երկրաբանահետախուզման հետ, ինչը Կիպրոսի կողմից թույլ չի տրվել իր տաածքային ջրերում, էքսկլյուզիվ տնտեսական գոտում կամ մայրցամաքային շելֆում: Դրանից բացի, պատժամիջոցները կարող են տարածվել ֆիզիկական անձանց եւ ընկերությունների վրա, որոնք Թուրքիայի այդ գործունեությանը ֆինանսական աջակցություն են ցուցաբերում:
Անկարայի դեմ առաջին նախազգուշական պատժամիջոցները ԵՄ-ն մտցրել էր հուլիսի 15-ին՝ կրճատելով ֆինանսական աջակցությունը եւ կասեցնելով օդային փոխադրումների մասին համաձայնագրի շուրջ բանակցությունները:
Կիպրոսի շելֆում եւ բացառիկ տնտեսական գոտում հայտնաբերվել են բնական գազի խոշոր հանքավայրեր: 2011 թվականին ամերիկյան Noble Energy ընկերությունը հայտնաբերել էր «Աֆրոդիտե» հանքավայրը, որի պաշարները գնահատվում են մոտ 140 մլրդ խոր.մետր:
Կիպրոսի բացառիկ տնտեսական գոտու սահմանները վիճարկող Անկարան այդ շրջան էր ուղարկել «Ֆաթիհ» նավը՝ հայտարարելով, որ հորատումը շարունակվելու է մինչեւ սեպտեմբերի 3-ը: Հունիսի 10-ին Կիպրոսի իշխանությունները թույլ էին տվել թուրքական հորատանավի անձնակազմի անդամների կալանավորումը: Թուրքիան հուլիսի 4-ին ուղարկել էր երկրորդ «Յավուզ» նավը՝ շելֆում երկրաբանահետախուզական աշխատանքներ կատարելու համար: Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հայտարարել էր շելֆային հանքավայրերի նկատմամբ թուրք կիպրոսցիների իրավունքը պաշտպանելու երկրի պատրաստակամության մասին, այդ թվում՝ ռազմական ուժի կիրառմամբ:
