Այսօր՝ հունվարի 28-ին, Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը նշում է Բանակի օրը, ՀՀ ԶՈւ 28-րդ տարեդարձը։ 1992թ. այս օրն ընդունվեց ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության մասին հրամանագիրը, ՀՀ տոնացույցում հունվարի 28-ը ներառվեց 2001 թվականի հունվարի 6-ին, այսպիսով ՀՀ Բանակի օրը Հայաստանում նշվում է արդեն 20-րդ անգամ։ Հունվարի 28-ը ոչ աշխատանքային սահմանվեց 2002-ից։

 

Մինչեւ ՀՀ Զինված Ուժերի ձեւավորումը Արցախյան ճակատում Ադրբեջանի սանձազերծած ագրեսիային դիմակայում էին շուրջ 80 կամավորական ջոկատները, նաեւ պաշտպանում Հայաստանի սահմանները։

 

 

ՀՀ Ազգային բանակի համար ամենադժվարին, բայցեւ հերոսական փուլը 1992 թվականի հունիս-1994 թվականի մայիս ժամանակահատվածն էր, երբ Հայաստանի եւ  Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությունները միասին լինելով չհայտարարված, բայց Ադրբեջանի հետ փաստացի պատերազմի մեջ,  այն ոչ միայն ստեղծվեց ու կայացավ, այլեւ թրծվելով Արցախյան պատերազմի կրակներում, պաշտպանեց ու ազատագրեց պատմական հայրենիքի զգալի մասը, հակառակորդին հարկադրելով զինադադար հայցել, որն էլ երեք կողմերի ներկայացուցիչների մասնակցությամբ ստորագրվեց 1994-ի մայիսին՝ Բիշքեկում, եւ մի քանի օր անց՝ մայիսի 12-ին, ուժի մեջ մտավ։

 

Դրանից հետո, բոլոր այս տարիներին Ադրբեջանը գրեթե ամենօրյա ռեժիմով խախտել է հրադադարը, պարբերաբար դիվերսիոն փորձեր ձեռնարկել։ Այդ շարքում առանձնանում են 2016 թվականի ապրիլյան ռազմական գործողությունները, որոնք առավելապես հայտնի են Քառօրյա պատերազմ անունով։ Այդ օրերին Ադրբեջանի լայնածավալ ագրեսիային դիմակայելու եւ հակառակորդին ետ շպրտելու գործն ամբողջությամբ իրականացրեց Հայկական բանակը։ Հայկական բնակավայրերի պաշտպանության այդ հերոսական օրերին արագորեն կազմավորված ու ճակատ մեկնած կամավորական ջոկատները պարզապես չհասցրին մասնակցել ռազմական գործողություններին, բայց դարձան համազգային համախմբումով Բանակի կողքին կանգնելու ամենատպավորիչ վկայությունը։

 

2016-ի ապրիլից հետո էլ հրադադարի խախտումները շարունակվում են, սակայն Հայկական բանակի պաշտպանած առաջնագիծը գիշերային լուսադիտարկման սարքերով համալրումը, ինժեներական կառույցներն ու ամրաշինական աշխատանքները հակառակորդի անակնկալ դիվերսիոն հարձակումները դարձնում են գրեթե անհնարին։
