Կենդանակերպի նշանների համար դիմահարդարումն իրական հրաշքներ է ստեղծում: Հոգեբանները կարծում են, որ կանայք իրենց համար ենթագիտակցորեն այնպիսի գույներ են ընտրում, որոնք ընդգծում են նրանց բնույթը և տրամադրությունը: Օրինակ՝ տղամարդկանց ուշադրությունը գրավելու համար ընտրում են վառ գույներ, իսկ սպիտակը և մյուս բաց երանգներն արտացոլում են ազատությունը և անհոգությունը:

Խոյ-կանանց համապատասխանում է վառ կարմիր շրթներկը, մուգ երանգի թարթչաներկը և մաշկի գույնին հարմար տոնային քսուկը: Այսպիսի դիմահարդարումը նրանց հաղորդում է ինքնավստահություն և եռանդ:
