ՀՀ Քննչական կոմիտեի հատկապես կարևոր գործերի քննության գլխավոր վարչությունում շարունակվում են ձեռնարկվել անհետաձգելի քննչական և այլ դատավարական, օպերատիվ-հետախուզական միջոցառումներ՝ ԱԱԾ նախկին տնօրեն Գեորգի Կուտոյանի մահվան դեպքի հանգամանքները պարզելու ուղղությամբ:  Այս մասին հայտնեց ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնի պետ Նաիրա Հարությունյանը:

«Փորձաքննությունների եզրակացությունները չեն ստացվել: Կուտոյանի դիակի վրա բռնության հետքեր չեն հայտնաբերվել: Քննության համար էական նշանակություն ունեցող մի շարք հանգամանքներ պարզելու համար նշանակվել են դատաբժշկական, դատագենետիկական, դատահետքաբանական, դատաձգաբանական, դատակենսաբանական փորձաքննություններ: Քննության ընթացքում ձեռք բերված հրապարակման ենթակա տվյալների վերաբերյալ Կոմիտեն հանդես կգա պաշտոնական հաղորդագրությամբ»,- ասաց նա:

Հունվարի 17-ին Երևան քաղաքի Պարույր Սևակի փողոցի բնակարաններից մեկում հայտնաբերվել էր ԱԱԾ նախկին տնօրեն Գեորգի Կուտոյանի դին՝ հրազենային վիրավորումով: ՀՀ ՔԿ նախագահ Հայկ Գրիգորյանի հանձնարարությամբ դեպքի վայր են մեկնել ՀՀ ՔԿ նախագահի տեղակալ, ՀՀ ՔԿ ՀԿԳ քննության գլխավոր վարչության պետ Արթուր Մելիքյանը, ՀԿԳ քննության գլխավոր վարչության պետի տեղակալ Վ. Մեսրոպյանը: Դեպքի վայրում աշխատել են ՀՀ ՔԿ Քանաքեռ- Զեյթուն վարչական շրջանների քննչական բաժնի քննիչները՝ քննչական բաժնի պետ Հայկ Գևորգյանի գլխավորությամբ:

Գեորգի Կուտոյանը ծնվել է 1981թ. սեպտեմբերի 30-ին, Երևանում: 2011թ. ՀՀ նախագահի կարգադրությամբ նշանակվել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահի օգնական: 2011-2014թթ. զբաղեցրել է Կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի խորհրդին առընթեր հակակոռուպցիոն ռազմավարության իրականացման մոնիտորինգի հանձնաժողովի նախագահի պաշտոնը: 2016-2018թթ. եղել է ՀՀ կառավարությանն առընթեր Ազգային անվտանգության ծառայության տնօրենը։
