Ավստրալիայում անտառային հրդեհների հետևանքով զոհերի թիվը հասել է 24-ի։ Այս մասին հայտնում է BBC-ն:

Նշվում է, որ զոհերի թիվը հաշվարկվում է 2019 թվականի սեպտեմբերին անտառային հրդեհների սկսվելուց հետո:

Բնապահպանները նաև պնդում են, որ հրդեհների պատճառով ոչնչացել է գրեթե կես միլիարդ կենդանի: Ավելի քան 1200 տուն է ավերվել, միլիոնավոր հեկտար հողեր են այրվել:

Վերջին 48 ժամվա ընթացքում բարեգործական հիմնադրամին հաջողվել է ավելի քան 20 մլն դոլար հավաքել` Նոր Հարավային Ուելս նահանգում բռնկված հրդեհների մարման աշխատանքների համար:
