Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն այն մարդն է, որը 90–ական թվականներին խուսափել եւ բանակ չի գնացել։ Ինքն այն մարդն է, որ ամբողջ կյանքում թերթի միջոցով մարդկանց վրա կեղծիքներ անելով է զբաղվել։ Այս մասին 168.аm-ի «Պրեսսինգ» հաղորդմանը տված հարցազրույցում ասել է ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի կրտսեր որդին՝ Լեւոն Քոչարյանը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ «Մարտի 1»–ին Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը առանցքային ֆիգուրներից մեկն էր. «Ի՞նչ արեց, թողեց փախավ գիշերը։ Պարտված թեքնածուն՝ Լեւոն ՏերժՊետրոսյանը, նույնիսկ չեկավ, չմիացավ ցուցարարներին, երբ որ կարող էր գալ եւ հանգստացնել, քանի որ իր համար էին հավաքվել այդ մարդիկ, իսկ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ղեկավարեց այդ ամենը, բարիկադներ կառուցեց Ֆրանսիայի դեսպանատան դիմաց, տեսանք, թե ինչեր էին ոստիկանների վրա շպրտում»։
Քոչարյանը հիմարություն է համարել այն խոսակցությունները, թե իրենք են դիտմամբ ձգում են, որպեսզի բուն դատավարությանը չհասնեն. «Դա ուղղակի հիմարություն է, չի կարելի նման բաներ խոսել, որովհետւ չկա նման բան։ Ուզում են ամեն կերպ այն ֆոնը ստեղծել, թե հեսա դատավարությունը կլինի, գիտե՞ք ինչեր է բացահայտվելու։ Այդ բոլոր տուժողները գործի նյութերն ունեն, շատ բաներ հրապարակվում է, այդ ի՞նչը պետք է մարդիկ տեսնեն, որը մինչ այսօր չի խոսվել։
