«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «Երեկ, ինչպես հայտնի դարձավ, ձերբակալվեց «5-րդ ալիք»-ի սեփականատեր Արմեն Թավադյւսնը: Պարզվեց, որ վերջինս ձերբակալվել է Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի աջակից Վարուժան Մկրտչյանի քրեական գործի շրջանակներում նույն հոդվածով Նախատեսված հանցավոր արարք կատարելու կասկածանքով: Հիշեցնենք, որ, ըստ ոստիկանության տարածած հաղորդագրության, Վարուժան Մկրտչյանը «Մարտի 1»-ի գործով տուժողներից մեկին առաջարկել է  ցուցմունքից հրաժարվել և դրա դիմաց գումար ստանալ: Մկրտչյանին մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 340-րդ հոդվածի 4-րդ մասի 1-ին կետով  (Սուտ ցուցմունք տալու նպատակով վկային կամ տուժողին սուտ ցուցմունք տալու Նպատակով կաշառելը, որոնք կատարվել են կազմակերպված խմբի կողմից): Ի վերջո, «ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը փոքրիկ հետաքննություն իրականացրեց՝ հասկանալու համար, թե ով է տուժողը, որին, իբր, փորձել են համոզել, որ ցուցմունքից հրաժարվի: «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթին հայտնի դարձավ որ «Մարտի 1»-ի գործով այդ տուժողը Վրույր Գաբրիելյանն է, որ ներկայումս ՃՈ դասակի հրամանատար է:

Եվ, ահա, ինչպես հայտնի է, «ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի Ձեռքում էին հայտնվել «Մարտի 1»-ի գործով մի շարք պաշտոնատար անձանց ցուցմունքները, և հրապարակել էինք այդ ցուցմունքների մի մասը: Ուստի հաշվի առնելով իրավիճակը՝ ներկայացնում ենք, թե ինչ ցուցմունք է տվել Վրույր Գաբրիելյանը «Մարտի 1»- ի գործով, որ, իբր, նրան համոզել են ցուցմումքը հետ վերցնի: Ուսումնասիրելով ցուցմունքը՝ այնտեղ որևէ տող չկա Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի կամ այլ պաշտոնատար անձի մասին: Մասնավորապես, ՃՈ դասակի հրամանատար Վրույր Գաբրիելյանը «Մարտի 1»-ի գործով ցուցմունք է տվել և հայտնել է ՀՔԾ քննիչներին, որ ՀՀ ոստիկանությունում ծառայում է 2005 թվականից և ներկայումս զբաղեցնում է ՀՀ ճանապարհային ոստիկանության 2- րդ սպայական գումարտակի 4-րդ վաշտի առաջին դասակի հրամանատարի պաշտոնը: Վերջինս ՀՔԾ քննիչներին հայտնել է՝ 2008 թվականի մարտի 1-ին՝ ժամը 5:30-ին, գտնվել է տանը, երբ ՊՊԾ գնդից զանգահարել են և ասել, որ տագնապ է: ՀՔԾ քննիչը հարցադրում է արել՝ նշելով, թե Ազատության հրապարակում սև համազգեստով դիմակավորված անձանց տեսել է, թե ոչ. եթե տեսել է, ապա ի՞նչ գործողություններ են արել: Ի պատասխան՝ Վրույր Գաբրիելյանը հայտնել է, որ նման մարդկանց չի նկատել: ՀՔԾ քննիչի հարցադրումները այսքանով չեն սահմանափակվել, վերջինս ՃՈ պաշտոնատար անձից հետաքրքրվել է, թե արդյոք Երևան քաղաքի վարչության պետի տեղակալ Մաշա Աֆյանը ՊՊԾ գնդում եղել է և անձնակազմին հրամաններ տվել է: Ի պատասխան՝ Վրույր Գաբրիելյանը ցուցմունք է տվել՝ հայտնելով որ Մաշա Աֆյաևը ՊՊԾ գնդում չի եղել և իրենց հանձնարարական չի տվել, և, ըստ ՃՈ պաշտոնատար անձի, իրենք.
