Հայաստանի երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանն այսօր՝ դեկտեմբերի 18-ին, Վերաքննիչ դատարանի նիստի ընթացքում հակադարձեց իր հասցեին հնչող մեղադրանքին, թե ինքը «սպառնալիք է ներկայացնում պետականությանը»։ 

«Այս մոլորակի վրա կա երկու հայկական պետություն և երկուսում էլ ես ղեկավար եմ եղել։ ԼՂՀ-ում ամբողջ պատերազմի ընթացքում ղեկավարել եմ երկիրը, այդ երկրի հռչակագրի հեղինակն եմ և 1988 թվականից մինչև երկրի ձևավորումը որևէ որոշում առանց ինձ չի կայացվել։ Հայաստանում ևս եղել եմ 10 տարի նախագահ։ Մինչև նախագահ դառնալը Հայաստանը միջազգային կազմակերպությունների ցանկում դասվում էր աղքատ երկրների շարքում»,-ասաց Քոչարյանը և ստիպված էր ընդիմել ելույթը, որովհետև  այս խոսքերն առաջ բերեցին տուժող կողմի դժգոհությունը, դահլիճում աղմուկ սկսվեց։ Հանդարտեցնելով իրավիճակը՝ դատավորը խնդրեց նախկին նախագահին խոսել բողոքի շրջանակում։

Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը շարունակելով նշեց, որ միջամտող քաղաքացին իրեն մեղադրում էր նաև կնոջ՝ կաթված ստանալու մեջ։ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը ասաց, որ իր պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում երկիրը դարձել է միջին եկամուտ ունեցող երկիր․ «Եթե այս արդյունքներն ունեցող մարդը համարվում է վտանգ պետականության համար, ուրեմն մենք մանկուրտների երկիր ենք»։

Դատավորը կարգադրեց դուրս բերել դահլիճից բոլորին, որոնք խանգարում են դատավարությանը, եւ մեկ րոպե ընդմիջում հայտարարեց։
