Ազգագրական երգը ամուր սյուն է դարավոր մշակույթ ունեցող մեր երկրի համար և մեր առաքելությունն է պահպանել այն, որպես ինքնության վկայություն:

Past.am-ը այս մտորումներով զրուցեց ազգային ժողովրդական երգերի կատարող Ռուբեն Սասունցու հետ, ումից տեղեկացանք նաև, որ երկրում չէ:

- Ռուբեն ի՞նչ առիթով եք գտնվում ԱՄՆ-ում:

- Հերթական համերգային ծրագրով Գոհար Հովհաննիսյանի հետ ԱՄՆ-ում ենք: Լոս Անջելոսում կունենանք մի քանի համերգ ու կվերադառնանք Երևան:

- Ազգագրական երգը նոր կատարողների համալրման կարիք ունի՞:

- Ազգային երգը միշտ հնչում է, թե՛ երիտասարդ սերունդի, թե՛ ավագների կողմից: Ուրախալի է, որ հիմա կան նախագծեր, որոնք ի հայտ են բերում կատարողների նոր անուններ: Ազգային երգը մեր պատմությունն է, այն միշտ պիտի լինի բարձունքում և առաջնային տեղում:

- Որո՞նք են պատճառները, որ երիտասարդ սերունդը անտարբեր է դեպի ազգային երգը:

- Համաձայն չեմ, որ անտարբեր են: Մեր համերգների ընթացքում հանդիսատեսի շարքերում մեծամասնութունը երիտասարդներ են, նրանք ոգևորված մեզ հետ երգում են, պարում: Սփյուռքում հատուկ վերաբերմունք ունեն ազգային ծիսական երգերն պարերը պահպանելու: Կա այն գիտակցությունը, որ օտարության մեջ չկորելու չձուլվելու պայմանը լեզուն, ազգային երգն ու պարը պահելն է:

- Եվրոպայամետ հայացքներով համապատասխան պաշտոնյաների երբևէ տեսե՞լ եք ազգագրական որևէ համերգի ժամանակ:

- Վերջերս մեկնել էինք Գերմանիա, հանդիսատեսի շարքերում կային ազգությամբ ոչ հայ պաշտոնյաներ, որոնց անչափ հետաքրքիր էր լսել մեր երգերը, նույնիսկ փորձում էին պարել:

- Ազգային երգի-պարի կենտրոն հիմնելու ցանկություն ունեցե՞լ եք:

- Միշտ եղել է ցանկություն ունենալ դպրոց, որտեղ կուսուցանվի միմիայն ազգագրական երգ ու պար: Ցավոք դեռևս չեմ կարողանում իրագործել երազանքս ծանրաբեռնված աշխատանքային գրաֆիկի պատճառով:
