Իրաքի վարչապետ Ադել Աբդուլ-Մահդին հայտարարել է, որ հրաժարական կտա՝ երկրում երկու ամիս շարունակվող բողոքի ակցիաների և անկարգությունների պատճառով: Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է korrespondent.net կայքը:
«Ես խորհրդարանին կներկայացնեմ իմ հրաժարականի դիմումը, և խորհրդարանը կկարողանա քննարկել վարչապետի նոր թեկնածությունները»,-ասված է Աբդուլ-Մահդիի հայտարարության մեջ:
Թե երբ վարչապետը կներկայացնի իր հրաժարականի դիմումը խորհրդարանին՝ դեռևս չի նշվում:
Վարչապետի հայտարարությունը կատարվել է Իրաքի շիա մահմեդականների շրջանում ամենահայտնի հոգևոր առաջնորդ Այաթոլլահ Ալի աս-Սիսթանիի ուրբաթօրյա աղոթքից հետո: Նա կոչ է արել երկրի խորհրդարանին՝ վերանայել կառավարության կազմի մասին որոշումը:
Իրաքում հոկտեմբերի 1-ից անցկացվող բողոքի ակցիաների շրջանակում արդեն զոհվել է 350 մարդ, կան հազարավոր վիրավորներ:
Ցուցարարները սկզբում պահանջում էին լուծել երիտասարդության գործազրկության հարցն ու պայքարել կոռուպցիայի դեմ, սակայն հետո արդեն հանդես եկան իշխանական կազմի՝ մասնավորապես կառավարության փոփոխության պահանջով:
