LIFEԵրբ կանադական մի փոքր քաղաքից երիտասարդ աղջիկ անհետացավ, ոստիկանությունը հայտարարեց, թե նա փախել է տնից,-տեղեկացնում է Past.am-ը: Բայց շուտով գտան նրա անդամահատված մարմինը՝ սեռական բռնության հետքերով: Հետազոտողները հասկացան, որ գործ ունեն սադիստ, սեռական ոտնձգություններ անող մարդասպանի հետ:
Ոստիկանները հայտնաբերեցին կասկածյալի, բայց նրա արտաքինը գիշատչի կերպարին չի համապատասխանել: Նա վերջին շրջանում է ամուսնացած եղել երիտասարդ, գեղեցիկ կնոջ հետ շքեղ հարսանեկան արարողությամբ: Նրանց կատարած հանցանքները սարսափեցրել են Կանադան:
Կառլա Հոմոլկան և իր ամուսինը՝ Փոլ Քենեթ Բեռնարդոն, 1990-ականներին Օնտարիոյում առևանգել, սեռական բռնության են ենթարկել ու սպանել 3 երեխաների:
Նրանց առաջին զոհը եղել է Կառլայի քույրը՝ Թեմին: Ամուսնությունից 2 շաբաթ առաջ առևանգել և սպանել են 14-ամյա Լեսլի Մահաֆիին: Այդ նույն տարում սպանել ևս մի աղջկա՝ 15-ամյա Քրիստեն Ֆրենչին: Կառլան ամեն հարցում աջակցել է ամուսնուն, նույնիսկ, երբ նա սպանում էր իր սեփական քրոջը:
Փոլին ցմահ ազատազրկման են դատապարտել, հավանաբար, նրան երբեք ազատ չեն արձակի: Կառլան պատիժը կրել է բանտում և այժմ ազատության մեջ է գտնվում: Նա երկրորդ անգամ ընտանիք է կազմել՝ ամուսնանալով իր փաստաբանի եղբոր հետ:
