Երբ դժվարություններ ես ունենում կյանքում, վստահում ես ու հույս դնում մայրիկիդ վրա: Խնդիրն այն է, որ հանգստացնելու ու սփոփելու փոխարեն երբեմն նրանք նախատինքի խոսքեր են թափում գլխիդ, կռվի առիթ են փնտրում:

NeedaMom-ը բրուքլինյան ծառայություն է, որը նպատակ ունի 20-35 տարեկան տղաներին ու աղջիկներին տալ մայրական խնամք՝ ժամը 40 դոլարով:

63-ամյա Նինա Քենիելին, ով նախկինում թատրոնի պրոդյուսեր և թմրանյութերից կախվածության բուժման խորհրդատու է եղել, այժմ էլ 2 տղաների մայր է, ասել է, որ հանգել է այն մտքին՝ կարելի է մայր վարձել, որովհետև իր՝ յոգայի դասերին այցելող երիտասարդները շատ հաճախ խորհուրդ են հարցրել իրենից և ինքը մտածել է, որ պետք է՝ ուրիշներն էլ նմանատիպ խորհուրդների կարիք ունենան:

Քենիելին առաջարկում է ականջ կամ ուս, որին հենվելով կարող ես լացել: Նրա գաղափարի հերոսները երիտասարդներ են, ովքեր կարոտում են սեփական տունը, կոտրված են կամ այլ խնդիրների առաջ են կանգնած: Նա տնային տնտեսուհի չէ, բայց կօգնի փոքր հանձնարարականներ կատարել, օրինակ՝ երեկույթ կազմակերպել:

NeedaMom-ի որոշ հանձնարարություններ, որ նա ունեցել է ուշադրության կենտրոնում, խորհուրներ են՝ կապված անձնական հարաբերությունների և կարիերայի հետ, ուղեկցել նրանց բժշկի մոտ, լրացնել ինքնակենսագրականը և այլն: Նա ասել է, որ 10% զեղչ է առաջարկում նոր հաճախորդներին և գնային առումով որոշ չափով ճկունություն է դրսևորում:

«Նրանք բոլորը հրաշալի, խելացի, նպատակասլաց և աշխատասեր մարդիկ են, բայց երբեմն հեռանկարային կամ փորձով վաստակված կյանքի իմաստության կարիք են ունենում»,- ասել է նա:

Նինան խորհուրդներ է տալիս նաև լավատեսորեն տրամադրված, բայց մայրական պարտականությունները դժվարությամբ կատարող մայրերին:
