Թուրքիան հրաժարվում է աջակցել Բալթյան երկրների եւ Լեհաստանի համար ՆԱՏՕ-ի պաշտպանական ծրագիրը, քանի դեռ դաշինքը Անկարային չի առաջարկում ավելի մեծ քաղաքական աջակցություն Սիրիայում քրդական ստորաբաժանումների դեմ պայքարում:

 

Reuters-ը՝ հղում անելով իր աղբյուրներին, հայտնում է, որ Անկարան ՆԱՏՕ-ում իր բանագնացին կարգադրել է չստորագրել ծրագիրն ու կոշտ դիրքորոշում է ստանձնել հանդիպումներում եւ մասնավոր զրույցներում՝ պահանջելով, որպեսզի ՆԱՏՕ-ն ահաբեկչական ճանաչի քրդական ազգային ինքնապաշտպանության ստորաբաժանումները:

 

 

ՆԱՏՕ-ն ձգտում է ստանալ բոլոր 29 անդամ պետությունների պաշտոնական հավանությունը Լեհաստանի, Լիտվայի, Լատվիայի եւ Էստոնիայի պաշտպանության ռազմական ծրագրի համար Ռուսաստանի «հարձակման» դեպքում: Առանց Թուրքիայի հավանության ՆԱՏՕ-ի համար ավելի դժվար կլինի ամրապնդել իր պաշտպանությունը Մերձբալթիկայում եւ Լեհաստանում:

 

«Նրանք (թուրքերը) պատանդ են վերցնում արեւելյան եվրոպացիներին՝ արգելափակելով այդ ռազմական ծրագրի հավանությունը, քանի դեռ զիջումներ չեն ստացել»,- ասել է դիվանագիտական աղբյուրներից մեկը:

 

Մեկ այլ աղբյուր Թուրքիայի պահվածքը «կործանիչ» է անվանում, քանի որ ՆԱՏՕ-ն փորձում է ցույց տալ, որ միասնական է այն բանից հետո, երբ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը թերահավատություն է հայտնել դաշինքի միասնության առթիվ, իսկ Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրանը հայտնել է ՆԱՏՕ-ի «ուղեղի մահվան» մասին:

 

Սիրիայի հյուսիս ներխուժումից առաջ Թուրքիան իր պահանջներն է ներկայացրել, սակայն խնդիրը սրվել է հաջորդ շաբաթ գագաթաժողովի անցկացման պատճառով, որին պետք է հաստատվեն փաստաթղթերը:

 

ՆԱՏՕ-ի դեսպանները դեռ հույս ունեն, որ փոխզիջման կհասնեն, քանի որ Անկարան նաեւ պետք է հաստատի թարմացված ռազմական ծրագիրը, որում մանրամասն նշվում է, թե ինչպես է ՆԱՏՕ-ն պաշտպանելու Թուրքիային հարձակման դեպքում՝ հայտնել են երկու դիվանագիտական աղբյուրները:
