Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիայի գործադիր կոմիտեի օրակարգում այս պահին չկա Ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ Արթուր Վանեցյանի հրաժարականի հարցը:
Այս մասին ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովումլրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց «Իմ քայլը» խմբակցության պատգամավոր, ՀՖՖ գործկոմի անդամ Արեն Մկրտչյանը, անդրադառնալով Եվրո-2020-ի շրջանակում Իտալիայի հավաքականի կողմից Հայաստանի հավաքականի կրած 1։9 ջախջախիչ հաշվով պարտությանը:
«Որևէ բացատրություն և արդարացում չունի 1։9 հաշվով պարտությունը: Բոլորն են մեղավոր պարտության համար, բայց թիվ մեկ պատասխանատուն ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահն է, և պետք է ֆեդերացիան բացատրություն տա: Առայժմ մեր օրակարգում ՀՖՖ նախագահի հրաժարականի հարց չկա, երբ լինի, տեղյակ կպահենք»,- ասաց Մկրտչյանը:
Պատգամավորը նշեց, որ վերջին շրջանում ֆեդերացիայում տիրող իրավիճակի վերաբերյալ Գործկոմը փակ նիստում հայտնել է իր դիրքորոշումը:
Եվրո-2020-ի որակավորման վերջին՝ 10-րդ տուրում, Հայաստանի թիմը հյուրընկալվեց Իտալիային: Պալերմո քաղաքում կայացած խաղում Աբրահամ Խաշմանյանիգլխավորած թիմը 9 գնդակ ընդունեց սեփական դարպասը: Իտալիայի կազմում դուբլեր ձևակերպեցին Իմոբիլեն, Զանիոլոն, մեկական անգամ աչքի ընկան Բարելլան, Ռոմագնոլին, Ժորժինյոն, Օրսոլինին, Չիեզան: Հայաստանի միակ գոլը խփեց Էդգար Բաբայանը: Սա Հայաստանի ընտրանու պատմության մեջ ամենախոշոր հաշվով պարտությունն է:
