Ռուսաստանը պատրաստ է օժանդակել Հայաստանի եւ Թուրքիայի հարաբերությունների կարգավորմանը: Այս մասին հայտարարեց ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը նոյեմբերի 11-ին Երեւանում մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ:

 

«Մենք չեն խոսում ինչ-որ մերձեցման, ջերմացման մասին: Երբ ունենք հարեւաններ, որոնք պատմության, աշխարհագրության կողմից են տրված: Մենք հարաբերություններ ենք զարգացնում բոլորի եւ նրանցից յուրաքանչյուրի հետ: Սա ստույգ է ՀԱՊԿ, ԱՊՀ, ԵՏՄ մեր բոլոր գործընկերների առումով, այնպիսի երկրների առումով, ինչպիսին են Թուրքիան, Իրանը, արեւելաեվրոպական երկրները: Մենք ցանկանում ենք բոլորի հետ նորմալ հարաբերություններ ունենալ: Եվ մենք ամեն կերպ աջակցում ենք, որ Հայաստանի եւ Թուրքիայի միջեւ գոյություն ունեցող խնդիրները հաղթահարվեն:

 

2010 թվականին մենք ամենաակտիվ կերպով նպաստել ենք, այսպես կոչված, Ցյուրիխյան արձանագրությունների ստորագրմանը: Չնայած նաեւ նախազգուշացրել ենք շատ չտարվել այս գաղափարով եւ հատկապես այն հաշվարկներով, որ դրանք կարող են ուժի մեջ մտնել անկախ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորումից: Մենք լուրջ կասկածներ ունեինք, մեր հայ գործընկերներն այդ ժամանակ ասացին՝ «ոչ, ամեն ինչ այդպես էլ կլինի, մեզ խոստացել են»: Ցավոք, Ցյուրիխյան արձանագրությունների ճակատագիրը ձեզ լավ հայտնի է: Այդուհանդերձ, մենք շարունակում ենք պատրաստ լինել: Դրա համար անհրաժեշտ է 2 կողմերի շահագրգռվածությունը: Մենք պատրաստ ենք մեր հնարավորություններն օգտագործել այն նպատակով, որ առաջ մղենք Հայաստանի եւ Թուրքիայի միջեւ հարաբերությունների կարգավորումը: Մենք բացարձակապես որեւիցե հիմք չենք տեսնում ենթադրելու, որ այս երկրների միջեւ ինչ-որ մեկը պատերազմ կսկսի, եւ ամեն դեպքում մեր ամբողջ քաղաքականությունն ուղղված է այստեղ խաղաղություն, համագոյակցություն եւ փոխշահավետ համագործակցություն հաստատելուն»,- հայտարարեց Սերգեյ Լավրովը:
