Թրամփը «լիովին համոզված» է, որ հաղթելու է 2020 թվականի նախագահական ընտրություններում

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը կիրակի ասել է, որ «միանգամայն համոզված» է, որ կհաղթի նախագահական ընտրություններում, որոնք տեղի են ունենալու մեկ տարի հետո՝ 2020-ի նոյեմբերի 3-ին։ Լրագրողների հետ Թրամփի զրույցը Սպիտակ տան Հարավային մարգագետնում հեռարձակել են ամերիկյան լրատվական հեռուստաընկերությունները, տեղեկացնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։
Պետության ղեկավարին հարցրել են՝ համոզվա՞ծ է արդյոք, որ կկարողանա վերընտրվել երկրորդ ժամկետով։ «Միանգամայն համոզված եմ։ Մենք շատ լավ արդյունքներ ունենք ըստ հարցումների»,- նշել է պետության ղեկավարը։ «Մարդիկ չեն ցանկանում լսել իմփիչմենթի մասին։ Միակը, որ ցանկանում է խոսել իմփիչմենթի մասին, սուտասան ԶԼՄ-ներն են եւ դեմոկրատները, որոնք հիմնականում աշխատում են այդ ԶԼՄ-ների հետ։ Ես դրան նայում եմ այնպես, որ դեմոկրատներն աշխատում են այդ ԶԼՄ-ների հետ»,- ավելացրել է Թրամփը։
ԱՄՆ-ում ընտրարշավի մեկնարկը տրվելու է 13 շաբաթ անց՝ փետրվարի 3-ին, Այովա նահանգում, որտեղ տեղի կունենան երկրում առաջին կոկուսները՝ կուսակցական ակտիվիստների ժողովները, որտեղ կընտրեն պատվիրակներ դեմոկրատների եւ հանրապետականների կուսակցական կոնֆերանսների, հետո՝ նահանգի կոնֆերանսների, իսկ այնուհետեւ՝ ազգային համագումարների համար։ Նյու Հեմփշիր նահանգում փետրվարի 11-ին տեղի կունենան երկրում առաջին նախնական ընտրությունները, որոնք նախընտրական ժողովներից տարբերվում են նրանով, որ դրանցում ընտրվում են պատվիրակներ անմիջապես ազգային համագումարի համար։
Թրամփի մրցակցի անունը նախագահի պաշտոնի համար պայքարում հայտնի կդառնա Դեմոկրատական կուսակցության ազգային համագումարում, որը տեղի կունենա 2020 թվականի հուլիսի 13-16-ը Միլուոկիում (Վիսքոնսինի նահանգ)։ Հանրապետականներն իրենց նախընտրական համագումարը կանցկացնեն 2020 թվականի օգոստոսի 24-27-ը Շառլոթ քաղաքում (Հյուսիսային Կարոլինայի նահանգ)։
Քվեարկության օրը նախագահի թեկնածուն հաղթանակի համար պետք է ունենա 538 նախնական ընտրողներից 270-ի ձայները։ 1937 թվականից գոյություն ունեցող ավանդույթի համաձայն՝ ԱՄՆ նոր նախագահի երդմնակալությունը 2021 թվականի հունվարի 21-ի կեսօրին։
