Վաշինգտոնի պատժամիջոցները Թեհրանի դեմ սպառնում են իրանցիների առողջության իրավունքներին, ասել է Human Rights Watch իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպությունը։

 

ԱՄՆ նախագահի վարչակազմի ներկայացուցիչները պնդում են, որ իրենք աջակցում են իրանցի ժողովրդին, բայց ԱՄՆ պատժամիջոցների չափից ավելի ծանր ռեժիմը վնաս է հասցնում Իրանի ժողովրդի առողջությանը, ներառյալ կյանքը փրկող դեղերի հասանելիությունը»,- ասել է HRW Մերձավոր Արեւելքի գծով տնօրեն Սառա Լիա Ուիթսոնը, տեղեկացնում է AFP-ն։

 

 

Նրա խոսքով՝ ամերիկյան պատժամիջոցները ստիպել են բանկերին հրաժարվել Իրանի հետ հումանիտար առեւտրից, ինչի հետեւանքով իրանցիները, որոնք տառապում են հազվադեպ կամ ծանր հիվանդություններով, զրկված են անհրաժեշտ դեղերից ու բուժումից։

 

HRW-ի հաշվետվությունում նշվում է, որ ԱՄՆ հումանիտար արտոնությունները չեն կարողացել հաղթահարել այն, որ ամերիկյան եւ եվրոպական ընկերություններն ու բանկերը չեն ցանկանում ֆինանսավորել հումանիտար ապրանքները։

 

Արդեն մեկ տարուց ավելի իրանցի պացիենտները պայքարում են արտերկրյա դեղերի անբավարարության եւ գների բարձրացման դեմ ինչպես ԱՄՆ առեւտրային պատժամիջոցների, այնպես էլ տնտեսական վիճակի պատճառով։

 

Դեղեր ներկրողները կառավարությունից արժույթի սուբսիդավորված փոխարժեք են ստանում, բայց օտարերկրյա դեղերը եւ բուժսարքավորումները միշտ չէ, որ կարելի է գտնել պետական դեղատներում։

 

Համաձայն  Իրանի դեղագործական արդյունաբերության սինդիկատի տվյալների՝ Իրանն արտադրում է դեղերի 96 տոկոսը, բայց ներմուծում է հումքի ավելի քան կեսը դրանց արտադրության համար։ Իրանը պետք է ներկրի նաեւ հատուկ դեղեր, որոնց կարիքն ունեն հազվադեպ հիվանդություններ ունեցող պացիենտները։

 

HRW-ն կոչ է արել լրջորեն վերաբերվել դաժան պատժամիջոցների ռեժիմի հասցրած վնասը վերացնելուն։ Վաշինգտոնը պետք է ստեղծի «կենսունակ ֆինանսական խողովակ՝ խելամիտ պահանջներով ընկերությունների, բանկերի եւ խմբերի հանդեպ, Իրանի բնակիչներին հումանիտար ապրանքներ տրամադրելու հարցում»,- ասվում է հայտարարությունում։
