Այսօր՝ հոկտեմբերի 29-ին, Միջազգային և անվտանգության հարցերի հայկական ինստիտուտն արգելել է մի շարք լրատվամիջոցների մասնակցությունն իր կազմակերպած միջոցառմանը՝ «Հոկտեմբերի 27-ից 20 տարի անց. հայացք անցյալին, դասեր և մտորումներ» թեմայով։ Նախօրեին ՄԱՀՀԻ ղեկավար Ստյոպա Սաֆարյանն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում ազդագիր էր տեղադրել լրատվամիջոցների համար, որում մասնավորապես նշել էր, որ «News.am», «Hayeli.am», «168.am», «Yerevan Today», «7or.am», «Livenews.am» կայքերի, «5-րդ ալիք» ու «Երկիր մեդիա» հեռուստաընկերությունների համար մուտքը փակ է լինելու:

Մենք՝ նորքոստորագրյալ կազմակերպություններս, այս մոտեցումը գնահատում ենք որպես խտրական վերաբերմունք ԶԼՄ-ների նկատմամբ, ինչն անթույլատրելի է և վտանգավոր՝ խոսքի ազատության տեսանկյունից։ Հասարակական կազմակերպությունն իր էությամբ պետք է բաց կառույց լինի և շահագրգռվածություն ցուցաբերի իր գործունեությունը լայնորեն լուսաբանելու համար։

Թեև հայաստանյան լրատվական դաշտում ձևավորվել է մի իրականություն, որտեղ լրատվամիջոցները սպասարկում են տարբեր քաղաքական շահեր, այդուհանդերձ, հասարակական կազմակերպությունները չպետք է խտրականություն դրսևորեն՝ առաջնորդվելով իրենց համակրանքով կամ հակակրանքով։

Հաշվի առնելով վերոգրյալը՝ կոչ ենք անում ՄԱՀՀԻ-ն՝ վերանայել իր մոտեցումը լրատվամիջոցների հետ աշխատելիս, հանդուրժողականություն ցուցաբերել նրանց նկատմամբ և ապագայում բացառել խտրականությունը։
