Պլաչիդո Դոմինգոն սկանդալի պատճառով թողնում է Լոս Անջելեսի օպերայի ղեկավարի պաշտոնը
CULTUREԻսպանացի տենոր Պլաչիդո Դոմինգոն վայր է դրել Լոս Անջելեսի (Կալիֆոռնիայի նահանգ) օպերայի գլխավոր տնօրենի պարտականությունները: Այդ մասին օպերային երգիչը հոկտեմբերի 2-ին հայտնել է The New York Times թերթին:
«Ես շատ թանկ եմ գնահատում Լոս Անջելեսի օպերան եւ նրա ստեղծմանն ու զարգացմանն ուղղված իմ աշխատանքը համարում եմ իմ առավել նշանակալի գործերից մեկը: Բայց վերջերս մամուլում իմ հասցեին հնչած մեղադրանքներն այնպիսի մթնոլորտ են ստեղծել, որը հարցականի տակ է դնում հետագայում եւս այն գործին ծառայելու իմ կարողությունը, որը ես այնքան սիրում եմ»,-պարզաբանել է Դոմինգոն, որն այս թատրոնը գլխավորել է 2003 թվականից:
Լոս Անջելեսի օպերայի տնօրենների խորհուրդը ABC հեռուստաընկերության կողմից հրապարակված հայտարարության մեջ «խորը եւ աննախադեպ» է որակել իսպանացու ավանդը քաղաքի մշակութային կյանքում: «Նրա ղեկավարությամբ Լոս Անջելեսի օպերան հայտնի դարձավ կրեատիվության ոգով եւ իր կազմում ամբողջ աշխարհից հրաշալի կատարողների ներգրավելու ունակությամբ, ներառյալ Դոմինգոն ինքը: Նա վերջին հինգ տասնամյակի ընթացքում ունեցել է ավելի քան 300 ելույթ, կատարել է 31 դերերգ եւ ավելի քան 100 անգամ դիրիժորություն է արել Կալիֆոռնիայի հարավում»,-նշվում է հայտարարության մեջ: Օգոստոսին Associated Press (АР) գործակալությունը հայտնել էր, որ ինը կանայք Դոմինգոյին մեղադրել են սեռական ոտնձգությունների մեջ: Մատնանշված դեպքերը, նրանց պնդմամբ, տարբեր ժամանակներում տեղի են ունեցել 1980-ական թվականների վերջից, այդ թվում՝ ԱՄՆ-ի տարածքում: Այս ամսվա սկզբին AP-ն հայտնել է, որ եւս 11 կանայք են երգչին մեղադրել սեռական ոտնձգությունների մեջ, հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
