INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը 2017-ին Օվալաձեւ կաբինետում հանդիպման ժամանակ ռուս բարձրաստիճան անձանց հայտնել է, որ անտարբեր է 2016-ի ԱՄՆ նախագահական ընտրություններին Մոսկվայի հնարավոր միջամտության հանդեպ, քանի որ ԱՄՆ-ը նույնն է արել այլ երկրներում, հաղորդում է Washington Post-ը՝ հղում անելով 3 նախկին բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներին:
Պարբերականը նշում է, որ տվյալ պնդումն անհանգստացրել է Սպիտակ տան ներկայացուցիչներին, որոնք սահմանափակել են Թրամփի այդ զրույցի ձայնագրության հասանելիությունը՝ այն հասանելի թողնելով միայն քիչ թվով մարդկանց համար:
Նշվում է, որ այդ հայտարարությունն արվել է ՌԴ ԱԳՆ ղեկավար Սերգեյ Լավրովի եւ այն ժամանակ ԱՄՆ-ում ՌԴ դեսպան Սերգեյ Կիսլյակի հետ հանդիպման ընթացքում:
Պարբերականը գրում է, որ զրույցի ընթացքում Թրամփը կիսվել է նաեւ «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման մասին գաղտնի տեղեկությամբ: Հանդիպման ժամանակ նա նաեւ հայտարարել է, որ ՀԴԲ տնօրեն Ջեյմս Կոմիի հեռացումը դրանից մեկ օր առաջ թուլացրել է նրա վրա գործադրվող «ահռելի ճնշումը»:
Սպիտակ տան կողմից Թրամփի եւ արտասահմանցի բարձրաստիճան անձանց միջեւ զրույցների ձայնագրությունների դասակարգումն այժմ հանգեցրել է նախագահի իմպիչմենթի պահանջին, որն այս շաբաթ առաջարկել են դեմոկրատները:
Վաշինգտոնում սկանդալ էր ծագել Թրամփի եւ Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկիի հեռախոսազրույցի շուրջ: Ենթադրվում էր, որ ԱՄՆ նախագահը նրան ստիպել է հետաքննել ԱՄՆ նախկին փոխնախագահ Ջո Բայդենի որդու գործողություններն Ուկրաինայում: Երեքշաբթի Կոնգրեսի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատը, որը վերահսկվում է Դեմոկրատական կուսակցության կողմից, հայտարարել էր Թրամփի դեմ իմպիչմենթի գործընթաց սկսելու մասին: Դեմոկրատ Բայդենն այժմ 2020-ին անցկացվելիք նախագահական ընտրություններում Թրամփի ամենահավանական մրցակիցն է:
Ավելի վաղ Սպիտակ տունը հրապարակել է Թրամփ-Զելենսկի հուլիսյան զրույցի սղագրությունը: Պարզվել է, որ Թրամփը չի ստիպել Զելենսկիին հետաքննություն անցկացնել Հանթեր Բայդենի նկատմամբ՝ Ուկրաինային ԱՄՆ-ի ֆինանսական եւ ռազմական օգնության դիմաց: ԱՄՆ արդարադատության նախարարությունը, որը միաժամանակ իրականացնում է գլխավոր դատախազության գործառույթները, ազգային օրենսդրության խախտումներ, ինչպես նաեւ զրույցի հետագա հետաքննության կամ որեւէ այլ գործողություն իրականացնելու հիմքեր չի հայտնաբերել:
