INTERNATIONAL NEWSՀնդկաստանում ձերբակալվել է իշխող «Բխարատիա Ջանատա» կուսակցության ներկայացուցչին սեռական բռնության մեջ մեղադրող 23-ամյա ուսանողուհին:
Ոստիկանության ներկայացուցչի խոսքով՝ աղջկան մեղադրում են պատգամավոր Չինմայանանդից գրեթե 700 000 դոլարի չափով շորթում կատարելու մեջ: Չինմայանանդը նաեւ այն քոլեջի տնօրենն է, որտեղ սովորում է աղջիկը: Օգոստոսին նա 72-ամյա քաղաքական գործչին մեղադրել է սեռական բռնության, ոտնձգությունների եւ իրեն ահաբեկելու մեջ:
Չինմայանանդը, որը ձերբակալվել էր սեպտեմբերի 20-ին, բանտից Լաքհնաուի հիվանդանոց է տեղափոխվել: 72-ամյա քաղաքական գործիչն ավելի վաղ եւս՝ 2011-ին, մեղադրվել է բռնաբարության համար, սակայն այդ մեղադրանքները հանվել են 2017-ին:
Ուսանողուհին պնդում է, որ շորթման մասին գործը կեղծել են, որպեսզի մեղմեն քաղաքական գործչի դեմ մեղադրանքները:
«Բխարատիա Ջանատա» կուսակցությունը բազմիցս հայտնվել է սկանդալների կենտրոնում՝ կապված սեռական բռնության մեջ նրա ներկայացուցիչների դեմ մեղադրանքների հետ:
Օգոստոսին պատգամավոր Քուլդիպ Սինգխ Սենգարը հեռացվել է կուսակցությունից 17-ամյա աղջկան բռնաբարելու մեղադրանքների պատճառով:
2018-ի հունվարին կուսակցության 2 պատգամավորներ մասնակցել են բողոքի ակցիաներին, որոնք կազմակերպել են հինդուիստական կազմակերպությունները՝ ի պաշտպանություն 8-ամյա աղջկա սպանության եւ բռնաբարության մեջ մեղադրվողների: Բողոքի ակցիաներից հետո նրանց հեռացրել են կուսակցությունից:
