Վրաստանի նախագահ Սալոմե Զուրաբիշվիլին սկանդալից հետո որոշել է ժամանակավորապես չօգտվել դատապարտյալների համաներման իր իրավունքից: Քննադատության առաջին ալիքը սկսվել էր այն բանից հետո, երբ պարզ դարձավ, որ օգոստոսին ներում ստացածների ցուցակում եղել է Ռամազ Դևաձեն, որը դատապարտվել էր ոստիկան Տարաշ Մուքբանյանին 2014 թվականին սպանելու համար:

Ավելի ուշ ԶԼՄ-ներն իմացել են այն մասին, որ Վրաստանի նախագահը ներում է շնորհել նաև Ասլան Բեժանիձեին, որը դատապարտվել էր 12-ամյա վաղեմության սպանության համար:

«Ես ավելի վաղ էլ հանդես եմ եկել նախաձեռնությամբ, որ համաներման կանոնները վերանայվեն և խորհրդարանում մշակվեն աշխատանքային խմբի կողմից: Այդ կապակցությամբ արդեն կոնսուլտացիաներ են անցկացվել խորհրդարանի նախագահի հետ: Մենք հունվար ամսից նոր կանոններ էինք պատրաստում: Եվ մեր տարբերակը հանձնվելու է խորհրդարանի նախագահին»,- հայտարարել է Զուրաբիշվիլին ճեպազրույցում: Նրա խոսքով՝ ենթադրաբար, արդեն հաջորդ շաբաթ կստեղծվի աշխատանքային խումբ, որի մեջ կմտնեն կուսակցությունների ներկայացուցիչները: Նրանք կմշակեն դատապարտյալներին ներում շնորհելու այնպիսի կանոններ, որոնք կբացառեն հասարակության մեջ հետագա հուզումները: «Դրա հետ մեկտեղ, մինչև այդ կանոնները կմշակվեն, ելնելով իրադրությունից, ես մորատորիում եմ հայտարարում, և դա իմ՝ որպես նախագահի լիակատար իրավունքն է»,- ասել է Զուրաբիշվիլին, հաղորդել է Sputnik-ը:
