Աշոտ Ծորմությանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Այսօր Վրաստանում տոն է: Պետությունը նշում է իր հերթական այսպես կոչված "ոբան", այս անգամ "գիորգոբա": Այս տոնը իր բոլոր խորհուրդներով հանդերձ վրացական պետության մեջ ամրապնդվեց ևս մեկ խորհրդով՝ Վարդերի հեղափոխությամբ: Բոլորն են հիշում 2003 թվականի այս օրը, երբ կտրուկ փոփոխությունների մեկնարկը դրվեց Վրաստանում և ողջ տարածաշրջանում: Վրաստանի առաջին նախագահ է. Շեվարդնաձեի իշխանությունը որպես այդպիսին դադարեց գոյություն ունենալ և այն տապալվելով՝ Վրաստանի զարգացման վեկտորը ստացավ լրիվ այլ ուղղություն:

Հեղափոխության արմատները շատ խորն էին, սական կարելի է ասել դրա իրական ընթացքը սկիզբ առավ նույն թվականի նոյեմբերի 2-ին՝ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններով: Իշխանական ավանդույթներին հարիր Վրաստանի ԿԸՀ-ն հայտարարեց Շեվարդնաձեի բացահայտ հաղթանակի արդյունքներ: Սակայն երկրում սկիզբ առած նոր և արդեն հայտնի որոշ քաղաքական ուժեր չհամաձայնվելով արդյունքների հետ, բողոքի հսկայական ալիք բարձրացրեցին պետության ողջ անկյուներով:

Հիմնական պատասխանատվությունը իրենց վրա վերցրեցին "Բուրջանաձեի դեմոկրատներ" կուսակցությունը՝ Նինո Բուրջանաձեի և Զուրաբ Ժվանիայի առաջնորդությամբ և նորաստեղծ, դեռևս ժողովրդին ոչ շատ հայտնի "Միացյալ ազգային շարժումը"՝ նույն Միխեիլ Սաակաշվիլու ղեկավարությամբ: Միավորելով իրենց ուժերը՝ վրացական "եռյակը"՝ Սաակաշվիլի, Բուրջանաձե, Ժվանիա հասավ Շեվարդնաձեի կարգերի տապալման և այդ տապալումը պատմության էջերում ամրագրվեց "Վարդերի հեղափոխություն" անվան տակ:

Տարբեր քաղաքական զարգացումներից հետո հեղափոխությունը ապրեց մինչև 2012-ի խորհրդարանական ընտրություններ, իսկ դե ֆակտո՝ 2013-ի նոյեմբեր՝ նախագահական ընտրություններ՝Նախագահ Սաակաշվիլիի պաշտոնավարման ավարտը:

Հեղափոխությունից արդեն անցել է 12 տարի, սակայն վրացական կուլիսներում կարելի է ասել այն վերապրելու նոր հույսեր են ծածանվում՝ հիմքում ունենալով առաջիկա խորհրդարանական ընտրությունները:
