Խոշորագույն ծրագիրը, որ հայ–իրանական տնտեսական հարաբերությունների առանցքն է կազմում, էլեկտրաէներգիա-գազ փոխանակման ծրագիրն է։ Այս մասին այսօր՝ սեպտեմբերի 3-ին, Ազգային ժողովի Տարածաշրջանային եւ եվրասիական ինտեգրման հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովում «Եվրասիական եւ տարածաշրջանային ինտեգրման արդի հիմնախնդիրները» թեմայով քննարկման ժամանակ ասաց Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությունում ՀՀ արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպան Արտաշես Թումանյանը։

«Խոշորագույն ծրագիրը, որ հայ–իրանական տնտեսական հարաբերությունների առանցքն է կազմում, էլեկտրաէներգիա-գազ փոխանակման ծրագիրն է, որը կապված է, թե ինչպես են ամրապնդված գոյություն ունեցող ենթակառուցվածքները, սա 2 բարձրավոլտ գծերի առկայությունն է, որ կա 2 երկրների միջեւ, եւ կարեւորագույն ենթակառույցը Իրան-Հայաստան գազամուղն է։ Այսօրվա պայմաններում մենք մեր տեսական ամբողջ հնարավորությունների ծավալով չենք աշխատում։ Գազ–էլեկտրաէներգիա փոխանակման շրջանակներում մենք օրական 1մլն խմ գազ ենք ստանում եւ դրան համարժեք 1։3 հարաբերակցությամբ հոսանք ենք արտահանում, փոխշահավետ ծրագիր է»,–նշեց նա։

Դեսպանի խոսքով՝  էլեկտրաէներգիա-գազ փոխանակման ծրագիրը պետք է ընդլայնվի, երբ ավարտվի 3-րդ բարձրավոլտ գծի կառուցումը. «3-րդ բարձրավոլտ գիծն ընթացքի մեջ է, բավականաչափ արագացված է, վերջին միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի նիստում վերջնական ժամկետ սահմանվեց 2020 թ.  ավարտ»։

Դեսպանը խոսեց նաև գազի շուրջ.  «Գազի հետ կապված խնդիրներ կա, վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի՝ Իրան կատարած այցի ժամանակ բաց տեքստով  հայտարարվեց, որ Իրանը պատրաստ է ավելի մեծ քանակությամբ գազ առաքել Հայաստան, սակայն կան բազմաթիվ խնդիրներ այդ հայտարարությունն իրականություն դարձնելու համար։ Գազի հետ կապված մի ուրիշ իդեա էլ կա, իդեա, որովհետեւ դեռ փաստաթուղթ չկա։ Ըստ այդ իդեայի՝ թուրքմենական գազը կարող է մեր տարածաշրջանով անցնել, գազը ֆիզիկապես չի անցնի, բայց այդ գազը կարող ենք փոխանակել իրանական գազի հետ։ Նշեմ, որ ռուսական գազի գինը ձեռնտու է մեզ, այն միջազգային գնից ցածր է, իսկ իրանական գազը, եթե անգամ մենք կանխիկով ստանանք, ավելի լավ պայմաններով երբեք չի առաջարկվել, փոխանակման սխեման է, որ մեզ հնարավորություն կտա խանդ չառաջացնելով գազի շուկայում, ոչ Ռուսաստանի ոչ իրանի համար, գազ ներկրել»։
