Հայաստանի պետական տնտեսագիտական համալսարանի ռեկտորի պաշտոնի շուրջ ստեղծված իրավիճակը չի անդրադառնա ուսումնական գործընթացի մեկնարկի վրա: Օգոստոսի 27-ին լրագրողների հետ զրույցում այս մասին ասաց Հայաստանի կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի եւ սպորտի նախարար Արայիկ Հարությունյանը:

Անդրադառնալով լրագրողի այն դիտարկմանը, թե բուհում ուսանողները ստորագրահավաք են սկսել այն դասախոսների պաշտպանության համար, որոնք դժգոհություն են հայտնում հնարավոր կրճատումներից, նա գոհունակություն հայտնեց, որ համալսարանական միջավայրում մթնոլորտ է ստեղծվել, որի պարագայում յուրաքանչյուրը կարող է իր կարծիքն ազատ հայտնել եւ դրա համար հետապնդման չենթարկվել:

«Ինչ վերաբերում է մնացյալ գործընթացներին, ապա հնարավոր կլինի գնահատել միայն այն բանից հետո, երբ դադարեն համացանցում քննարկումների մաս լինել եւ կնյութականացվեն»,- հավելեց նա:

Ի պատասխան Հայաստանի պատմության ուսումնական ձեռնարկների հրապարակման մասին հարցին՝ Հարությունյանը պարզաբանեց, որ առաջին եւ երկրորդ հատորների վրա աշխատանքները շարունակվում են: Ի պատասխան այն հարցին էլ, թե հնարավո՞ր է «Հայ եկեղեցու պատմություն» առարկան հանվի ծրագրից, նա հայտարարեց. «Ես չեմ ասել, որ այդ առարկան ծրագրից հանվելու է: Որտե՞ղ եք դա կարդացել: «Դեղին մամուլո՞ւմ»: Այս պահին առարկան մնում է ուսումնական ծրագրում»:

Հիշեցնենք, որ իշխանությունների նշանակած Ռուբեն Հայրապետյանը փորձել էր ՀՊՏՀ-ում զանգվածային կրճատումներ անցկացնել: Ի պատասխան մի խումբ դասախոսներ նրա դոկտորական ատենախոսության մեջ հայտնաբերել էին գրագողության փաստը, որը ընդունվել էր երկարատեւ ապարդյուն ճիգերից հետո: Ամեն ինչ ավարտվել էր նրանով, որ Հայրապետյանը ստիպված էր լքել ռեկտորի պաշտոնակատարի պաշտոնը:
